Previously I have used laptops for general use and programming but I have never build a pc so I don't have much knowledge about them. I can't play any top games like gta 4,gta 5, hitman series or assasin creed or even fifa 13 without having to decrease graphics to exteremly low on my current laptop which has intel hd family graphics card.

I thought about a gaming laptop but I think that would be too expensive. My budget is only 20-30k. Is it possible to build a good gaming pc within this range?

Any help would be appericiated. :)

Okay so this is purely for gaming so you won’t need an I7 cpu. A i5 6th gen 6600k would suffice.

Minimum 8GB ram idealy 16gb DDR4 ram make sure to check the pins on the motherboard.

Motherboard pick one with the inputs and bands and whistles you need.

A graphics card is where your money will be going. Would you be using a cross fire set up with two graphics cards? This is where you need to research and pick up a high end card to max out graphics and FPS.

The case and PSU and all other smaller items Is down to you. Make sure the PSU. Is enough to handle the power your computer needs. Try pcpartsfinder it’s a good site to check items are compatible. If you keee more help message me here.

Did you see his budget? The i5-6600k would take up most, if not all of that budget.

AMD is killing it these days, just look at their stock. You can get a much better deal from AMD than Intel, but I don't know if it holds true in Pak. AMD also makes APUs so you can get that for your initial build which will play any current gen game on medium settings or better (https://www.anandtech.com/show/12425/marrying-vega-and-zen-the-amd-ryzen-5-2400g-review/5), and then buy a dedicated GPU later on.

See https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/ for a community around this topic.

Intel is the better hybrid. He can double it as a work station with intel.

I think you might be able to find a PS4 for that price.

20-30k is nowhere near enough man.

You’d need to spend about 70k to build a decent PC that could run the latest games.

With this budget, even for a low-end gaming setup, don't be shy of getting some used components. For a graphic card, get Nvidia Gtx750ti, that's a minimum and will play every single pre-2015 game with ease. Because this GPU is not power hungry, it will save you money on power supply as well, so you can go ultra cheap there. Also, you don't need a high end motherboard, and with your budget, I will get a used one for dirt cheap price. Get two 8 gb RAM sticks, and you are good to go with a decent gaming setup. I used something similar in 2017, and it worked fine.
