Need some advice regarding marriage in US

hello bros. i know its not the place to ask. i will go to US embassy for details but i am kind of novice regarding visa issues etc.
i met a girl on some muslim rishta site, she was born and brought in pakistan , now living in US doing job etc.
shes intrested in marriage. her parents lives in pakistan, they are going to meet me in couple of months time. i have only talked to her twice on phone. mostly we do chat. she said that she is busy most of the time in job and other responsibilities as a single mom. (she got divorce from her cousin 8 years ago ).

but before that i want to know the visa issues regarding this kind of marriage. i am financially broke. dont have money or any savings ( long story). no experience in 9-5 job, just did some tutoring. only did graduation. she knows all of that except that i cant able to spend money on my visa/ticket etc. and i am going to talk to her about that.

but what i want to know is that, whats the policy of US visa regarding this kind of marriage. i know its very very very hard to get visa for tourist or even students so what chances i have ?

on which bases they will issue me the visa ?
whats the visa fees/charges and tickets cost etc ? ( kindly tell me in pkr)
and if i get the visa (not sure how)
what kind of jobs out there in US, i know it wont be white collar jobs but just want to know what i am going to do there. what i am getting into ? what kind of difficulties i am gonna face in US etc.

I assume you are living in Pakistan and she is a US citizen.

The following may not be all correct, so you should verify.

If she came to Pakistan and married you, it will take you a while to get a visa to enter the US. I believe you will have to get an immigrant rather than a non-immigrant visa.

If you were able to travel to the US and married her there, you could remain there with her. Of course, the challenge for you would be to get a visa to get to the US. Also, applying for a tourist visa would not be honest as your intention would be to remain in the US.

Mate are you just marrying her for a visa? She has already had a divorce dont mess around with her..

i am bieng honest, i am not going to apply for tourist visa. shes going to come in pakistan for marriage and she will go back after a month.
so whats different with immigrant or non-immigrant visa. which one is easy to get ? again i am novice in this issue.

Mate are you just marrying her for a visa? She has already had a divorce dont mess around with her..

first of all she send me a proposal first, i didnt. after couple of talks she shown intrest in me. i dont know what she finds in me. maybe i am kind of straight forward and honest. i told her i dont see my future in pakistan. not that i dont love my country,because if someone asked me to marry in US in my mid 20s, i woud ha reject right away.
also, i am getting married because i dont see my future in pakistan plus i am getting old, i am 35+ with no future insight. she needs a partner for her, shes alone there and if i am able to share her responsibilities,i will do it gladly. i see it as win-win for both of us.

I think if your spouse is a girl then it's faster but you if it's a man then they do more background checks and put you in "administrative processing".

Green card holder is a permanent resident of America, they're still citizens of their country of origin such as Pakistan, after a few years they're eligible to apply for naturalization (to become a citizen).

If your file goes into background clearance I believe that can take up to a couple of years, nasty business.

Pakistanian has been spot on and my experience and knowledge on the matter agrees with his.

A few things can help expedite your processing or at least make sure it does t take extra long:

1. Be as detail oriented as possible. Read and read all the forms before filling and submitting them. Check them more than a few times.
2. Be as Descriptive as possible (don’t be unnecessarily descriptive but enough so they have all the pertinent info)
3. Don’t skimp out or miss on any of the required materials such as proof of previous marriages, divorce, children and their date of births.
4. And of course don’t need to say this, but still.... DO NOT falsify anything. You will regret it because they have sophisticated methods of catching hanky panky

I agree. Sometimes telling the actual reason could be more helpful than lying one.

I remember one of my friend, who was financially weak, going for medical abroad. In the interview, he had issues with showing assets in order to support him fully (he didn't falsify) but he did have the marks from the exams. He was told (he told later to others), that he was given a chance to lift his family and he better not disappoint the people who granted the visa. Probably those people felt sympathy for him considering he was a very sharp student with little money.

He's a doctor working in a hospital now.

Dude, don't mess around with life matters. Ask your fiancee to get hold of an immigration attorney in US. This is a very common scenario and millions of people do this every year. It is very important to get the paper work right the first time.

Getting visa for US is very hard especially for guys. Best bet is she sponsoring you.For fiance visa or after marriage. It will take time though. Also, not cpmpleletly legal but another way around it is applying for tourist visa, going to USA, extending your visa and getting married but for that you need to show good bank balance, a well settled job in Pakistan, letter from your office (the place you are working) stating that you work with them and will return to Pakistan after your visit.
