I watch, live and breathe Pakistan Cricket and I always will regardless of our team performance. I can bear anything but when you see injustices, discrimination , nepotism or favoritism then my heart bleeds drop by drop whether that is Pakistan Cricket or Pakistan as a country.
When Inzamam-ul-Haq became the chief selector then he said in the press conference that he will be selecting player not based on the first class statistics but on the talent and potential. He won't look at stat but look at under what circumstances the players performed. Part of me believed him but a part of me was really worried that he is saying it to make it easier for him to murder merit so he can pick players who are mediocre.
I will have no problem if he picks a player who has performed in domestic cricket but then select a player among a pool of three amazing players in domestic cricket with stat to back up their performance and the criteria for their selection can be based on talent, potential, technique etc.
Lets look at the first class average of Imam-u-Haq, which probably shows the height of nepotism which runs in PCB.

How can a player who has only played 43 first class matches with mediocre average of 34.72 can get into Pakistan cricket team on the basis of one good tournament and other players who has scored 10,000 runs at average of over 50 do not get selected. The reason is NEPOTISM and it kills me when you see such injustices where players who has scored thousands and thousands of runs in domestic cricket do not get selected but Bhanja gets selected by murdering merit and dreams of many well deserving players and he is then given a long rope to succeed but how can he succeed on international stage when he was mediocre at first class any way.
Why is it that the likes of Mohammad Hafeez, Imran Farhat kept getting selected in the team and other deserving players were left out.
We the community should raise our voice every time when you see some one with mediocre stat in domestic cricket gets selected in the international team.
Lets have a look at another player statistics. I wont name it but we all know who he is. It will be so sad and heart breaking if this player retires without playing for Pakistan.

We can stand anything, losses, collapses but injustice in the society is very painful and it hurts so bad.
