Hi guys. I was just on the CA website and seem the latest edition to the CA family is out. It's a 15000 plus players edition. Has anyone seen it yet. Was hoping one of the CA gurus on here might have some info on these. Am really keen to get one but have no idea what they are like. Price is 43000 pak rup direct from CA.

Any info greatly appreciated
Thanks

Saw it a few weeks ago. It's the one Nasir Jamshaid is using, and the bat has his signature!. 43k is a lot and why the hell would CA choose NJ to endorse it's most expensive bat is beyond me!

That is because when Jamshed was using their previous edition he thrashed the Indians and was becoming a sensation. The decided to endorse him and he hasn't delivered the goods since then.By the way,Jamshed looked good in the last couple of matches.

Profile is same, if I take off the plus 15000 and players stickers no one would recognise which is which

I picked up a few of these for friends. Like most ca bats a fair bit of variance on size and grain etc. i was lucky enough to get a reasonable service and look at pics before buying but more recently got choice of not so great willow and service below what i deem a minimum standard and since moved on now to ss , bb etc

Has anyone checked out the new CA bats the big bag etc, think CA have changed the profile shaps of some bats, they have added a more oval handle now with the Big Bang range and a couple of their other model bats now have minimal concaving (of course on some willows)

Dude they often have minimal concaving depending on how dried out the willow is. Gud to see them having a go at oval handles as a lot of guys prefer it. As for profiles the top end offerings are all the same (mid, high middle) with very subtle changes in thickness of the toe depending on cleft. Shame they cant be consistent on the concaving or no concaving on each specific model

Yeah you are right, but often we see with CA they hammer out a concave to keep bat weight down... Would love CA to bring out a non-traditional asian bat

i.e. middle middle, low-none concaving and an oval handle !

Think there is too much big edge phase going around, if you middle the ball better chance it going to boundary than a bat with big edges. (And i have a CA plus 15K )

Essentially all top end CA bats have same edge and spines. Only difference is they scallop the back and put in concaving to keep weight down like u said. Tough bit is finding the bat without concaving that is genuine low density as oppose to just being super baked in the Sialkot sun lol. Iv only ever managed to get one ca bat without concaving which was not over dried. All the rest have been huge yes but over dried
