What's new

New Zealand [196/5] defeat England [184/9] by 12 runs in 4th match of Tri-Nation T20I Series

LMAO there's one.

Such poor 5th and 6th ball options from us this game.

Firm favourites for the World Cup. Their weakness is their bowling attack. A bowling attack which has atleast three 90+ mph bowlers. Lol. Its a scary team if they click.

They just devastated Australia in Australia recently.

Yea ...but world will notice when fearless approach brings WC. Like SL did with Sanath and Kalu, need to wait till then.

Why are they favorites? Tournaments are about handling pressure and what have they done to suggest they can do it? I'd back India, Pakistan (already thrashed them last time they were faves :))) ) and Aus to beat them when it matters.

Agreed, Pak has more chance than slam bang Eng in next WC.

Pakistan destroyed India's batting line-up too, whats your point? ATG line-ups wouldn't have survived that Pakistan bowling attack in the tournament. But bowlers don't dominate that often in LOI cricket, ask Yuzvendra Chahal.

England would have beaten India or Australia in my opinion. They had already thrashed Australia earlier.

No shame in admitting they are a top team and are level 1 favourites for the WC in home conditions. You won't always run into inspired bowling attacks.

England wouldn't have beaten India and they certainly wont beat a full strength Aussie pace attack.

Agree to disagree mate, you think Eng are favorites for WC, fair enough. Also many are sceptical about this slam bang approach, which may back fire in knockouts of WC.

Gone Malan... same thing may happen in WC knockouts.Bang bang and cluster of wickets falling in crucial stages!

Aman you may disagree about England, but you've got to say NZ won't win many games with THAT fielding.

We would have finished this match by now if we fielded well, so much for this amazing English side.

Bowled him.

168/7, with all that firepower they would have been lucky to get 170 if he took our catches.

Not happy with that bowling or fielding performance, should have done much better.

Haha. Well bowled NZ. Santner and Southee were very good.

Hard luck England.
England don't have a batsmen capable of guiding them through a big chase :shh

All those hitters are useless when you don't have a class player to hold up one end.

Doull giving Kane the MOTM award.

Ouch, talk about awkward :)))

LOL Doull brought it up, he should have a go at Kane every week.

Buttler has such a soothing voice, he's got to get into commentary after cricket.

Eng needed Root or Morgan today to anchor the innings.

Aman I thought Williamson was the most overrated T20 batsman? :yk2
He was impressive tonight, but we all know one innings isn't enough. He needs to bat in this fashion from now on, he cant revert back to his old style. He needs to back himself and launch like he did today.

He played some Dhoni and AB style shots today, he showed a power game I thought he never had.

Kane Williamson hitting a six 93m, who would have ever imagined that.
