A very good total by New Zealand. It is not particularly easy to chase here. If it weren't for the rain threat, I'm sure OZ would have batted first.

NZ should quickly go to slower ball variations on this pitch rather than go pace on immediately.

What a beautiful innings that was by Conway! What a good touch player! An absolute flyer provided by Allen as well, mind you. A seriously good innings! It's a pity, though, that Neesham, one of New Zealand's very best hitters, only got 13 balls to face in the end. I've said it many times already, T20 is just 120 balls and there`re no slog overs in it. Neesham should've been sent higer up the order.

New Zealand might well have batted Australia almost out of the game already had it not been for such a poor innings by Williamson, their captain. 23 off 23, when the team had had a flying start, was absolutely criminal. He's just not made for this format.

Indeed , playing powerplay to preserve wickets was long shelved ever since Sanath and Kalu transformed the way and grabbed the title in blink of an eye..

Pakistan openers are very much capable of playing shots , but the intent is to preserve wickets than going for shots..

Saw the other day in washed out match against Afg , Rizwan dotted 8 balls and havent scored a run..
