Sehwag, Gambhir, Dhoni, Yuvraj, Raina, Irfan Pathan etc. were not noobs or inexperienced in 2007. We've already seen how Pant did when he was introduced in T20I even though that is the ideal format for him.

These players should be playing one-day and 4-day cricket. They're not going to develop playing T20s where they'll be playing against bigger men capable of clearing the boundaries more easily. There's already enough of T20 for them between the IPL and Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy. Keep the T20Is for the 'national and A' team, not U19.

everyone other than those 2 who played double digit balls scored at S/R of nearly 200, sharma was the anchor but he failed to score anything beyond singles and shankar even after coming in at powerplay played only at 150. This was a game where we were chasing @ 11 and 43 of 28 unless converted to a 50 ball 85-95 is a useless innings as it is slow especially given he got to play in pp.

The only oldies playing this series are the ones who are going to the World Cup. They play newer players in T20Is anyway. T20I is a good format to play those who are in the reckoning for national side in ODIs, not for U19s who can barely even find a place in their state teams or IPL sides.

Wouldn't exactly call it elevation against a 42 year old Silva. Silva was the one pushing the pace, if anything. Ade's stock definitely didn't rise after this fight.

Yes i would rather he scored a 10 ball 20. If you use up 30 balls you better win the game or you are just using up deliveries which someone else could have gotten and won us the game, this isn't odi this was a t20 where we were chasing 210+. On some days a 20 ball 25 could be a game winner this wasn't that game.

Other guy is a hack. You can pin him down if you want. Karthik has more range. It was a gamble. Didn't pay off. Doesn't mean it is a bad decision. In hindsight hack could have connected given that all the guys with no real technique were the ones who lot of runs .
