Ok I jus checked the scorecard yeh he took a wicket but he didn't bat, i'm confused so he can bowl and then just sit out and not bat and let a 12th player take his place is that even allowed in any format at all?

Yes, it is allowed in warmup games. You're allowed to do the same in a lot of pre-tournament games such as the T20WC. Something similar will probably be implemented before the next WC.

should have become captain after inzi, would have been one of the best in these three years. He has started batting with a lot of responsibility.

Am puzzled at the fact that all of a sudden Misbah is starting to perform consistently with the bat and even batting at a decent strike rate under his own captaincy.

Why couldn't he do that while playing under the likes of Malik, Younis, Yousaf etc? Where was this consistency then? He had been given ample time and chances to come good.

There were many reports that Misbah was part of the clan to revolt against Younis. I have no respect for this selfish player.
