Those midwicket drives off the backfoot against the wristspinner by KW reminds me so much of Tendulkar.
 
Pakistan should play 3 spinners in the next match as the all rounder spinner is not even bowling.
 
I think Babar on the pitch is a match up for kiwi batters

Until this morning with Babar out, it felt as if Pakistan were bowling well at home
 
Not a surprise to see Nicholls get out, looked very vulnerable to spin out there and he has been in average form for a while now.

This current pair and Blundell are the key wickets.
 
All 3 home test series against Aus, Eng & now NZ have exposed Pakistan's bowling badly. Despite playing at home, Pak doesn't have bowlers who can bowl opposition out at low score which is really surprising. Secondly, all these 3 visiting teams have played at better RR than the home team, this shows Pakistan's batting is too defensive and their batsman never play for victory
 
You know for sure that the Journalists and Karachi lobby are going to pick up on Babar’s absence off the field and then return leading to a burst pipe leakage of runs!
 
After this series every sena team will have beaten pakistan at home apart from south africa in last few months.

Mitchell doing what Umar Akmal would’ve done on different occasions come out and belt the bowlers to all parts on a flat pitch.
 
Babar always choses Wasim over the more reliable pacer. Last match he did not bowl Faheem who could had delivered tight overs and this time Hamza will be under bowled and at wrong time with ball getting softer.
 
Pakistan has the worst bowling attack among all test playing nations bar Zimbabwe.
 
Hamza is way too slow....his 125-128 kph stuff won't threaten anyone on this pitch

He failed miserably even in 2nd 11 this season. Fails in the same fashion he used to 10 years ago , no improvement.

What failure is that exactly averages more than Azhar Shafiq and others outside Asia forget second eleven he’s performing well in the one day cup against international bowlers.

The domestic thing is what fools everyone some players can perform at international level others never will.

Everyones scoring in it , the gray wicket and 50 meters boundaries. Even ammad butt is having a great time.

Which of these batsmen have a double hundred in a final maybe if they pick batsmen in their prime it would do the country good whitewash after whitewash with these slow 40 strike rate batsmen.
 
NZ will look to get 600-650 here and then force pressure on pakistan and try and win by an inns

Pakistan should play haris sohail ahead if shan masood , an out of form haris sohail is better than inform shan. Plus he bowls some useful spin as well.

Haris Sohail's time has gone due to his fitness issues, Kamran should replace Shan and he can also bowl a little.
 
Good spell by Hamza....he's kept it tight.

If only he bowled atleast 5 kph faster.

He was struggling to score a run last time he played outside Asia and he’s another 40s strike rate batsman in tests not needed neither is Salahuddin.

What is the need for Wasim to bowl ,Hamza could had bowled couple more overs and kept it tight.
 
Absolute torture to watch Williamson when he is set. Makes it look like nothing is happening in the bowling.
 
This torture seems endless. Started from australian series. We were better off on UAE pitches. This is pure torture
