New Zealand go past Pakistan's total and close on 440/6 on Day 3 of the 1st Test in Karachi

Williamson was born to dominate Pakistan, Sri Lanka. Bangladesh & West Indies.

Absolute stellar record against these four crap teams.
 
Why Babar does not understand spinners are easily dominated,atleast bowl Hamza who kept things tight and resulted in wickets on theotger in each of his spell.
 
NZ should win this match. 100+ runs lead and we will crumble under pressure. Fraud Saqlain needs to be sacked ASAP.
 
Thank God Ramiz Raja has been removed. Next step is to get rid of Babar as captain and Saqlain. These people have destroyed our cricket with these pathetic pitches.

The pitches were way better under Ehsan Mani and Wasim Khan.
 
Babars opts for such pitches to make sure he scores soft runs on flat pancakes thus sacrificing any chances of a team victory . Sometimes a team like England plays Bazball and wins the match on flat tracks or sometimes a team like NZ wins by playing attrition Cricket. No advantage for team Pakistan only advantage Babar Stats Padder.
 
Indians create venomous pitches , they don't produce fattas where Kohli's and Pujaras can score doubles hundreds for fun while their spinners do the donkey work and struggle to take 20 wickets. You want to win the match and series, create bowler friendly pitches not these fattas to inflate your own batting averages.
 
Haven't seen Babar this frustrated and angry in the field before. He knows if Pakistan lose this test match and series, he will no longer be captain under this new administration.
 
Got to feel sorry for Nauman.

With a bit of luck he could have had 5 wickets by now.
 
Nauman getting square turn but he is wasting by bowling negative line.
Should bowl correct line, captain need to correct his line and field set.
 
What evidence do we have that babar dicatates the pitches? We make too many claims without having sufficient information.
Pakistan pitches have been playing like this for agws , the highest percentage of draws have been played on pakistani pitches, around 45%. We do not have quality bowlers to create something out of nothing , an inexperienced bowling attack with no x factor is a major cause we are not able to pick up wickets. Very easy to blame babar for everything.

Under Ehsan Mani, Wasim Khan from 2019 to 2021, the pitches were a lot more sporting and helpful for Pakistani bowlers.

Then Ramiz came along and totally destroyed the pitches, making them lifeless. Babars been captain for a good three years and he was given total authority on team selection by Ramiz, this squad is his baby, he has to accept responsibility

He doesnt make pitches.

May be blame ramiz raja for the pitches , and he is gone. But we do not have enough information that actually babar requests dead tracks. Seems like he is the only batsman in the team who can score anywhere. Pakistani curators need to learn making pitches art from somewhere. It should offer some seam on first day and plenty of spin on last one and a half day. Save for abrar no spinner did well in domestic this season and seamers struggled too.
 
Not sure why this guy wasn’t featuring regularly for Pakistan but people like Musa, Naseem, Muhammad Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Harris Rauf and Waseem JR are all preferred above him

Misbah, Saqlain and Babar all need to answer lots of questions

He is a kind of bowler who can bowl 20-23 overs a day with economy of 2.5-2.8/over..perfect partner for Shaheen and Naseem..

Absolutely,but has a poorca poor captain and poor pitch to bowl at. Should hadbowled more woth first new ball and started with second new ball, and bowled longer spells as he is fit wnough to bowl 7overs spells

I think Waqar Younis and Muhammad Waseem needs to be added to the list of those who should be held accountable

Babar was the captain even under Mani and Wasim Khan.
What makes you think that all of a sudden Babar decided to play on flat pitches after whitewashing SA.

Ramiz has said it on record that he made the pitches flat to nullify to Aussie pacers.

This pitch fiasco is Ramiz's doing.

There is a reason why he has taken 371 FC wickets @21

I can see why, the quality is there. His wickets will come through too. Give him 2 tests each in SL, WI and BD and then watch how that straightens up for you
 
Mir Hamza has 91 FC matches & 375 wickets under his belt.

Getting overhyped by fans & making big statements will not give you this experience. You have to grind it out which the likes of Naseem, Haris, Dahani, Wasim etc. are not prepared to do.
 
As soon as Hamza creates difficulty for batsmen. He gets removed next over. Superb captaincy. Babar wants NZ to score quicker. Lol

That's the major reason behind the declining averages of Kohli, Pujara and Rahane.

Nothing against Hamza, he's an honest lad who's worked hard in FC and deserved his chance.

But he's a limited bowler.

He's bowling at 125kph and gone wicketless so far....he's only getting hyped by some because of how he got into the team, any other guy in his place would've been thrashed by the same lot.
 
Well i think pak neeeded that wicket..as we have three lefties in top.order we will have no chance if they get a 100 lead

Clearly you have not been watching his excellent line and lengths, faster bowler Wasim has notbowled better tgan him but git the wicket.
 
Naseem is not fully fit otherwise he would had played 100%, even commies were saying he is resting his injury.
 
NZ 275/6 in the day. Could have been better if pakistan had taken all the chances and taken the review yesterday.

This thrashing should dent Sethis and Afridis egos well. Where is the performance Mr Afridi? You always talked the big talk.

Well played NZ ahead in the match but did not play fast enough to win the match, unless they declare or get bowled out before Lunch tomorrow and Pakistan collapse batting.
 
NZ will try to get 100 more in the next 20 overs.
Then try to get pakistan out under 250 in 70 80 overs leaving them a lot of time to chase 140 150.

Also averages nearly 50 v SA and over 40 v Australia (against whom he’s had to play 7 of his 9 tests away from home). The only country he’s really struggled against has been India.

England and india. Especially in both countries his performance has been mediocre.

31 innings 961 runs 2 hundred 3 50s and aversge of 32.
 
Will Pakistan be able to bat another 110-120 overs in the second innings ? That's what they will need to do to secure a draw and defeat here.

This is just the start, more humiliation will follow for the the selector and the chairman. When you have big mouths and could produce no results then this is expected.
 
So we might a winless home season NZ DEFINITELY in driver seat they can add 140 odd and Pakistan to crumble on late Day 4 to 55/5

This is bit unfair on Hamza to be honest. This is a dead wicket, not an ideal pitch to make a debut as a fast bowler. I am sure he would do much better in SENA countries.
