you surely don't want Saffer to gloat here

I wouldn't mind Saffer having a gloat actually. It's all about who's playing well a month from now anyway. :D

Given the state of our attack, definitely gettable. Someone's going to have to make some inroads with the ball early.

On another note, I'm reminded of why I hate NZ rugby commentators.

Is this Grant Nesbitt commentating?? What does he know about cricket?

On another note, not a bad effort from Australia A's batting. Now can Australia A's bowling back it up?

This isnt a GONE! Caught behind!
Bracken gets Fleming out.
1/9
He goes for 6.

Flemo gone, NZ 1-9, edged to the keeper for 6.

It is not OZ A bowling. Bracken and McGrath are there. I think Hogg is also playing (he may not if Symonds was there)
Flemming out off Bracken ct behind

This isnt an Aussie A Bowling Line Up.
We still have McGrath, Bracken, Tait and Hogg.

Inside edge from Taylor, just missed the stumps.

OG, did you buy this series? Or is there a channel that is showing it in USA?

I guess you're right. Only the batting lineup is an Aussie A lineup.

Are you kidding? :)) The only cricket you see on US TV is shown on Animal Planet. I bought it off the Cricketon.TV site.

if you cared to know I am watching on willow. I get the DirecTV package about $200
this year it is
Commonwealth Bnk series (already over)
NZ-Aus ODI series
all below are TBC
Zim-Aus (test and ODIs)
SL-Bang (test & ODIs)
Zim-SA (Test & ODI)
Aus-SL (Tests)
ZIM-WI (tests)
Aus-NZ (ODIs)
Aus-Ind (tests)

last two years were better

New Zealand 1/31
6.3 overs

Taylor 4*
Vincent 20*

Bracken 1/21 (3.3)
McGrah 0/9 (3)

I doubt we will bowl the Hobbits out, so economy rate will be important.

I am a little surprised that Tait didn't open. McGrath is coming first change often now

VINCENT OUT! Bracken takes his second and Vincent goes for 16.
Jaques takes the catch. 2/47. A big wicket!

Tait just bowled 155 Kph (97 mph???) back to back. has been expensive though
NZ 74-2 after 12 overs. need 263 to win @ 6.92
Aus were 52-1 after 12

NZ making hay at the moment during these Powerplay overs.

McGrath scowls and shakes his head after each delivery.

OUT! GONE! Styris is caught on the boundary by Hussey. Watson takes the wicket and Styris goes for 17.
3/113
19.4 overs

NZ has lost a wicket too soon I think

I don't understand all the columns though

Ok 12thMan,
The first column is the overs.
The 2nd column is how much Aus scored in that 10 over slot.
The 3rd column is Aus score after the every 10 overs.
The 4th column is exactly the same as the 2nd column.
The 5th column is exactly the same as the 3rd column.

Taylor has given not only hope to NZ, but has given excitement to the world to look forward towards WC'07...What exciting times it can be if NZ plays Pakistan in the Final of WC'07 and Taylor smashes a huge century to set 350 runs target for Pakistan and Inzi ans Afridi smashes their way to the target with one ball to spare...Man O Man: Simply waiting for WC'07...

Shocking bowling by White. A very short ball which is pulled for 6!
3/144
26.4

Taylor moves into the nineties with 2 fours against Cam White.
Next ball is another four!
He moves to 95.
Next ball is a single.

NZ making a game out of this, and just few overs ago the run rate will climb too high to achieve.

Next 10 overs even if they make 60 but have wkts in hand then they are in business. making 96 off the last 10 overs with wkts is not too much to ask.

That's the century! Taylor's second hundred.
He gets his century at just less than a run a ball.
Commentators very happy compared to when Hussey got his century.

They'll probably need 70 runs from the next 10 overs...without losing more than 1 wicket to have a good chance. No Oram today for NZ down the order though

now you know how it feels :P

just take solace in the fact that Hussey is a better player in anyone in the NZ squad.

Hussey's captaincy skills will be on show here. These two players are looking fairly comfortable.

I think game will be on on in 4 or so overs. If they can get the score to 100 runs needed in 12 ov. then it is game ON.

RRR: 8.19 rpo

Watson back on
NZ need to ignore that to a degree. It'll only add undue pressure. They need to set a target to get to by 40th(ie 250, 260 etc) and go from there.

NZ have wickets in hand which is the crucial thing. If they can get to 40 overs with 7 wickets in hand anything can happen.

8.70 needed per over now.
Aussies need a wicket or NZ could run away with this match.

If wkts in hand last 100 of 12 overs is very gettable even against Mcgath and Bracken.

We need some dot balls to put pressure on NZ.

I still don't see them scoring 100 runs in the last 10 though. I think they need to get to 250 at least.

Ross Fletcher continues to do well....see OzGod i told you that he is a special talent!
Ross Fletcher?
109 needed from 72 at a runrate of 9.1 per over.
