If NZ wins this series then India drops to 3. The fact that a #8 team is allowed to bully them like this just demonstrates how mediocre they are outside India.

These rankings that you're so proud of will just keep going south. Until they return to the subcontinent of course, where normal service should resume while they claw their way back to #2 so you can brag until the next away tour.

Zaheer was awful, I doubt if he can trouble domestic batsmen with this bowling. India should play Yadav, Aaron, Shami and Bhuvi for the fourth seamer. Ishant can play if one of these four is not available. Team selection is awful, Captaincy is awful, fielding is awful - all these are making India's overseas weakness with bat and ball much more glaring that it should.

Our bowling was rubbish, now batting & fielding is following same path. Thing is that one team is playing well above its ranking, and other is playing well below its ranking.
Fact is that NZ had outplayed us so far in series, I do not think it will change for remainder of the series.
Our rich rock stars only looking for IPL auction, not interested in playing cricket.
Our team is following our board, arrogant & only interested in money.
Same as fans, who always forget this things, once IPL starts.

Well, that would not be the case if we had separate rankings for overseas tours. India is playing the way they should, given their strength to play away from the subcontinent. You can say with a blindfold that if India plays in SA, Aus, Eng and NZ - India is guaranteed to loose the series. They may win or draw in other places.

Well, this problem is not unique to India, apart from SA every other team could get bullied out of their comfort zones, but India's distinct bowling weakness means that they have to tick more columns in order put up a better fight.

Just like India cleaned out its garbage in batting its need to do same with the bowlers

First day of a test match in nice conditions Zaheer Khan is bowling 125. He is not longer super fit for Test match cricket.

Get in a young guy who can bowl with some pace. What ever happened to that fast bowler from Delhi who bowled 140ish.

Cannot win with this bowling line up
