Let's ask Mr 4th umpire, Ponting.Random Aussie said:Was this one a clean catch?![]()

But he didn't do that yesterday. Umpires didn't even consult him. I'd expect Ricky '4th umpire' Ponting to do something like this when consultedRandom Aussie said:No need Tendulkar is there, he can adjudicate with that renowned honesty.

What can Tendulkar do ? His tried taking the catch, didn't influence the umpire by giving his opinion. The umpire gave the batsman OUT on his own without consulting any of the players. That's it !!Random Aussie said:That's alright keep digging. Another unfortunate incident for Tendulkar which of course is somebody's else's fault.
I think now we blame the batsman for not standing his ground more assertively.

Why won't he appeal if he thought the catch was clean ? Did he debate with the umpire, or give his opinions regarding the matter to the umpire, or do what Ponting did by raising his finger up ?Random Aussie said:He appealed for the catch. Does that not imply he thinks it is out?
Wait now we have to reverse all the arguments because the Indians are defending bump catches) I love the blinking, smiling hypocrisy so clearly evident.
If Tendulkar did do a Ponting and give someone one out you can bet there would all the defences mounted in his favour and then some.
Hobbits collapsing as predicted by most.

I can count 3 if they were all done correctly this would be a competitive match.
oh well...

Appears to be so far.Mansoor_Ahmed said:Afridi is a better striker of the ball than Mccullum. That innings in IPL was a fluke.
IronMan2009 said:3 went against India. McCullum was leg before twice not given. In the first innings Guptill was plumb not given.
Random Aussie said:This was such a typical response I could have typed it for you. Yawn.
Easy victory coming up for India. Pity that bump catch takes some of the gloss off it.
And yeah McCullum has been heavily overrated since that IPL innings. He is not that good a player.

Tupac said:RA, your comparing two completely different catches. Ponting took his, rolled on the ground, and put the ball on the ground.
Tendulkar's was with the fingers jammed between the ball. Ponting's was blatant, Tendulkar's was not.
Don't know how you can compare the two.
you must be talking about this catch? such a cheaterTupac said:RA, your comparing two completely different catches. Ponting took his, rolled on the ground, and put the ball on the ground.

IronMan2009 said:Leave RA to me. Punter picked the ball from the ground and claimed it as catch. Serial cheater.
IronMan2009 said:India atleast had 5 decisions went against them in this match.
Romali_rotti said:I cant believe Taufel didnt give that bat pad decision against Maccullum HUGE inside edge.. Doesnt matter we will still win the game, SHEEP DOWN

Random Aussie said:Fine by me for you to call Ponting serial cheater if you are prepared to admit Sachin is cheater. But of course you won't.
Because he is retired you might agree that Ganguly was a cheat - but even then probably not.
Exhibit number 456457 of why RA hates on Indian cricket fans and them alone. No other countries fans are so stupidly biased.
