Actually I thought the fielder has flown to the stands and grab the catch and landed inside the boundary.....ridiculous
 
As usual, a lot of emotional fans. Accept the fact that the team combination had two debutant openers and a debutant number 3, out of whom one of the debutant openers should statistically never have been made to open.

At number 4 you have a 40 year old who happened to be in good form for a year, and at number 5 you have a guy who’s playing higher than 6 for the first time ever.

At number 6, you have a leg side hack who people thought was a better inclusion than the guy who scored a century in the practice game.

That’s the definition of a fragile lineup. This Pakistan team is not the one that reached number 1 in the T20 rankings and there is not much more you can expect when they’re batting in New Zealand or Australia as that’s historically been the one place even our best bats struggle.

So cut the gloom and back your team which is full of the same youngsters you wanted included in the first place.

Ifti chaca was the only decent batsman in Australia last year yet he was dropped. I'm not saying he is the savior but better than these jokers

No he did not I heard the full interview and he kept saying he was avoiding him till after Butler played the knock. He even said you won the match what more you need to learn of me.

To be honest Pakistan lacks the right batters , Pakistan needs to plan long term , there are no short fixes.
 
Santner is an upgraded version of Vettori. Excellent cricketer and miles better than Shadab with both bat and ball.
 
Pitch is good just had that extra spice .....the bounce.....batters will get used to once they get
More time on pitch....tough for youngsters tbh

This is a typical PSL knock by the Pakistani team. 90 in 15 overs, and attempt to get 50 in the last 4 to get 140. Thats the total that our team usually aim for

Lol Santner isn’t even a spinner to begin with. Vettori was a proper bowler

Santner is a proper spinner too. He darts in the shorter formats but he can really spin the ball.

The only thing Santner is better than Vettori at is fielding. You won’t convince anyone that Santner is a better ‘spinner’ of the ball in comparison to Dan Vettori

Maybe I won’t, most of our fans don’t understand cricket anyway so I am not bothered if they don’t get what I say.
 
Everything aside. From the very few boundaries I have seen from Faheem in International Cricket. The timing was incredible. But sadly he's not of quality.
 
Talent has been shown. However the world can’t be exposed to too much of Faheem’s quality. Expect him to go back to the pavilion soon.

nz wants pakistan to score some , otherwise there is no other reason to contonue with ish sodhi.
 
Shadab with a front foot and a back foot six so far. Looks a gonner against quick bowlers but plays spin better.
 
Well the no.5 spot looks like Shadab. Can’t blame the guy for scoring runs whilst others have not
