It really baffles me . . for Rahat's ability to swing the ball, he is way too inconsistent and he actually bowls better in the UAE with the reverse swing and ring fields . . he just doesn't have the control to bowl with a tight slip cordon and gaps in the field . . He bowls an unplayable bowl here and there, but by and large . . bowls a bad delivery every over

He is not playing like a nobody player. He seems to have solid defense and attacks every lose ball with no second thoughts.

So far, this guy looks like a real deal. Still early days though.

Wish NZ could donate Jimmy Neesham or Corey Anderson to India. We could use one of these All rounders.

Because in the UAE the pitches are low and veryyy slow . . not conducive to fast scoring . . thats reason number 1 . .
reason number 2. . becuase the pitches are so slow and low, slip cordon is mostly not required, which means the field is a ring field mostly . . so you can get away with a lot more bad balls . .

and thirdly, he gets the ball to reverse . .

so as soon as he comes out of asia and has a slip cordon with gaps in the field, his one four ball an over gets punished
