Naseem should be sent back to domestics for one season atleast

He has no sense of line/length and even his pace seems gone
 
This is what I loathe about Taylor. Normally he is pretty casual to score runs and pretty casual to get out. For PAK though, he seems to have a special place in his heart.

Won't stop playing shots though.
 
Bowling too wide of the crease. What is this pathetic coaching staff for?
 
Criminal from Naseem "fear in the batsmen's eyes" Shah to be going at 7 RPO in these conditions.
 
Naseem should be given some confidence by the senior players here. International cricket can be a tough place
 
Overhyped Naseem. He's not even that fast today.
Would take any performing pacer in QEA trophy over him.

Fahim is actually doing his job keeping it tight going at 2 rpo till now. Naseem is just acting like a 15 year old.
 
Who is the "slightly healthy" gentleman to the left of Babar? The one with the floppy hat? MashAllah, looks fit as a fiddle and appropriately dressed in coaching kit.
 
Not sure what exactly is the plan with Naseem besides just having no plan

5th, 6th line. Short, wide. No swing, down on pace.

Faheem looks like McGrath in comparison to him
 
Naseem Shah is either not ready or not good enough.

135k gun barrel straight isn’t going to cut it in international cricket. So far all hype.
 
Need to get some fielders in the inner circle on legside considering how these two pacers are bowling at the moment
 
Faheem and Naseem have quickly undone the good work of Shaheen and Abbas. Just straight out rubbish.

He has been playing tests for one year now. If he needs to learn he should learn in domestics
 
Very heartbroken by Naseem.

How can you bowl like this when you have hardly done any bowling on this tour?
 
Naseem Shah - another one in the long list of hyped cricketers. He was always never good enough. Back to the domestics for 5 years.

Only defense is he is coming back from an injury otherwise no excuse

Decent start from Yasir. NZ will have a plan to possibly attack him but, if he can bowl with some accuracy he can have a chance.
 
No need to circle in on Naseem like a pack of vultures. He’s not bowling like he did in England or against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, or even the PSL. He’s clearly rusty given the lack of cricket, it’s unfair to call him overhyped if he’s currently bowling 135s while the hype was for the Naseem bowling 150s.

I think management is at fault here for not getting him back into rhythm before this match. And if they knew he was out of rhythm, he shouldn’t have been played.
 
Wicket has definately flattened out but that is no execuse for naseem bowling poorly even faheem as well
 
Keep an eye on the fields set for Yasir by Rizwan. So far Rizwan has had a good start - he's not been backed up by Naseem (has played enough tests to not be as wayward as he's been).

Fields against legspin were what led to Azhar and Misbah being exposed to even the casual observers of cricket. Hoping Rizwan has the nerve which he has so far seemed to have.
 
Imam’s only problem while commenting is that he is trying to communicate too fast which is why the pronunciation is off.

Hoping for an overly simple solution here but perhaps a change of ends will solve Naseem's issue. Personally, looks like it is more than just that but we need all 5 bowlers to fire.

Fair point. He has just played one or so warm up match in months if I am not wrong.
 
While Faheem is bowling wicket to wicket he is hardly challenging anyone. I would be surprised if he gets a wicket either

Naseem has never had a qualified or competent bowling coach.

He is bowling like a teenager who has had too much exposure to Waqar Younis. And, like Waqar from 1989-95, he is clueless with a new ball.

Let’s just hope that he can bowl like Waqar when the ball gets old.
