People who probably never played cricket in their life do not realize that these days batting gets easier after the 15th or so over unless you have ATG spinners who can tie down the opposition in the middle parts. The pitches are easy and the ball does not get old enough for reverse swing. This same NZ side would have scored 320 had we not picked up 5 early wickets. Think back to WI match they scored 291 despite both openers in first over.
