New Zealand v Pakistan | Match 33, World Cup | Edgbaston | June 26, 2019 | New Zealand innings

Amir getting a lot of support from the crowd and then on the other hand we have Hafeez in the attack.

Want to see an inswinging yorker from Amir to splatter KW's stumps...Kane smashes some minnow bowling and gets over-hyped like no tomorrow

Guptill's form is worrying.

We're not going far if he's not scoring runs and we have no other opener at the other end.

The atmosphere is mental. My friend went to watch this game and sent me some snaps, it’s crazy out there.

Munro is a walking wicket. This is why it's so important Guptill finds form.

Don't allow 1s and 2s and strangle Kane for strike and just see mr.cool captain walking back to the dressing room in no time

This pitch is good, we should be able to score big if we bat well.

Pakistan players finally get a real "home" match. Must be special for them.

Amir already going back of a length to protect runs. Maybe he thinks there's nothing in the pitch and is looking to contain runs.

Is it a good call to bat first? I think, PAK truly has scared Kiwis here and that call of batting first was pre-determined, but have to say this is one of the whitest Edbaston that I have seen.

How many PAK can chase here?

It was predetermined because we haven't batted first much in the tournament. It's practice.

I can only remember us setting once in the tournament and that was against the WI.

No swing. Would rather keep one spinner going from one end throughout the innings

pitch is flat..and hard..NZ should be looking for a big score here..

Poor stuff.

KW is a world class batsman, probably the best Test batsman in the world right now. And Fab 4 in ODIs.

Hafeez should have bowled one more over. AFRIDI will give couple of boundaries to release pressure.

How many PAK can chase here?

Around 270. Don't see them chasing over 300.

I doubt - you are not just that elite enough yet to play a "practice" WC game against PAK, even if you were certain for SF, which you are not yet.

How many PAK can chase here?

With this Kiwi attack, Pak can't chase anything over 220.

Pitch looked good and Kane probably knows the team needs to get use to setting as they may need to do it in the SFs.

They did bat second against your team and know the danger.
