Don't get too excited, I've never seen him hit a single six apart from legside.

SL selectors wanted an opener who could "stay at the crease for a long time". Thirimanne trying to say"I CAN OPEN YOU RETARD SELECTORS, PICK ME FOOLS."

We went to Asian Championship Semi finals. I feel it is much better than the South Asian championship :uakmal. Apart from Cricket, there isn't a sport other South Asian teams can compete. India and Pakistan can compete in hockey, but SL and Bangladesh doesn't play hockey like you guys, we'll probably get our butt kicked. In Rugby, SL is 2-3 divisions above Ind and Pak, we can't even face you guys. Cricket is getting too boring. We need more sport.

How is Snooker in SL? Pak and India both are doing good in Snooker Championships and were world champion too. The sad part is we are gone missing in the game of hokcye and squash where we were world beaters for decades :(

Never heard of SL's snooker team or a player. Im guessing its non existent. I heard that India and Pak are drifting of from hockey. LOL i totally forgot Soccer. Im guessing all the teams are equally garbage ?

Remember when they tied and knocked of Italy :))). There was this particular player in NZ side who pulled out his baby's picture and he was going around crazy with it.

We nearly beat italy too. New Zealand and Australia don't play the hollywood style football but the Italian player dived in the penalty box.
 
200 runs are possible here in the last 20 overs here if SL keeps wickets in hand.

India have started a premier league of hockey in their country while both nations at international level are going down to the worst our hockey players are not being paid salaries from months and many tours are canceled because dont have money for travel etc and guess what hockey is our national game! ahh gone are those golden days of our hockey. btw currently we all are garbage in soccer but interest is increasing in the country and recently our kids won the bronze medal in FIFA Street Child World Cup

SL should attempt to keep wicket in hands and go at RR of 10 in the last 10 overs. That is the best and only option we got.
 
Where does cricket rank in terms of popularity in New Zealand? I believe Rugby is no.1

That is sad, whats happening with hockey. Our damn university isn't giving us money to tour Florida to compete in North Amercian College Championship :(. I was excited to play in that Flordia's international cricket ground. Pakistan beat the likes of Brazil, Italy and latin american countries ? That is pretty impressive.

You are in canada right so ice hockey or field hockey? Pak won the match against USA to get the bronze medal. Argentina and India didn't won a single match. Tanzania won this street WC
 
Wicket looks so good to bat with small boundaries. Target is not out of reach by any stretch here if Sl can keep wickets in hand.

Lanka not out of the game , if they have wickets in hand , couple of 15 plus overs can bring required down.
 
Switched to England match. What happened to Bell in ODIs? looks so comfortable on crease these days and batting like a champ freely
 
No offense, but SL have no hope of winning this without Mathews.

Mahela and Dilshan will need to play out of their skins to win it.

White people :facepalm:. A player invades the opposition's property(rectangle), the invader must be dragged and stomped on his/her throat and the invader must suck all 5 toes of the person who attempts to stomp him/her.

Ice Hockey, floor hockey is not a sport that anyone plays in Canada. Kids play with plastic ice hockey like sticks and call it "floor ball". Ice hockey is an expensive sport. Equipment costs good $600 to $1000 per kid. Immigrants cannot afford to play hockey, so they started playing basektball, since one $15 ball can be shared by 5-10 people. Basketball wasn't a sport that dominated Canada. 20 years ago NBA(Like IPL for Basketball) expanded its territory from US to Canada and it has paid off. Basketball has become a dominant sport in the biggest city in Canada. As of now, its Ice Hockey, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball and recently Cricket took over Amercian Football. but Cricket is still only played by the South Asian-Carribbean communities.

I watched a basic rules video and I think New zealanders would be amazing at this sport

There was never hope since NZ posted 360. We don't have players who can go at SR over 100 and score 50+

ahaa thanks for giving an insight on this it's always hard for immigrants to play expensive sport specially for us the asians. I love to watch Tennis but we hardly have any international standard courts in the country and the kids here can't afford a sport like tennis

But can't have white players stomping people in the throat because that would be racist,colonialism and Neo-Nazism, can't have black players either because it would appear as if there is an armed robbery going on and they'll probably end up getting shot and killed. Can't have the aboriginals because of their violent, barbaric, nature and cannibalism is not accepted in civilized societieslike SL, India and Pakistan. Where do you live ? In Canada, when you say "asians" people think "Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and so on". We are called "brown" now a days, before it used to be "Indian". Light skinned Pakistanis would be though of as "arabs". Dark skinned Indians and Bengalis would be taught as Sri Lankans or Tamil.
 
Dilshan has got out at too many 70s, 80s and 90s lately. I wish he scores a century here today.

They need to score 80-90 runs to keep it interesting or the game will be gone by then.
