I can't see NZ chasing this score down. Only way they will win if they get a very strong start otherwise they will get bogged down in the middle overs by the 2 Ms.
 
Pak fans should be rooting for SL, otherwise PAK can not top the group.
 
the best thing abt this match is that .. nobody knows who to support ... all thanks to the other group toughness :D

im sure even the captains wud be confused that whether its better to get the 2nd position or end up at top

wat if england end up at the bottom ... and WI at the 3rd spot ..

Well thats great logic since Pakistan need to beat Aussies before they even think of topping the group!

Seems a bit sad that you need another team to lose to top a group and would cheer for it, would it not be better to win all your matches and if you dont take it as it comes?

Talk about putting the cart before the horse. If New Zealand wins today then our match against Australia will have no impact on the group standings. That;s why we want Sri Lanka to win. Whine bout something else.....

Do you wan't to meet Zimbabwe in final?

If we don't meet SA in Qfs who knows we may or we may not meet them in other stages.

This is world Cup. Pakistan need to be good to win it by beating any team which comes to their way.

Isnt Pak better of if they lose to Aussies if NZ win:)
Then you will have someone you have beat in the QF!

im really hoping to see a proper mccullum big innings .. other than that .. NZ can do whatever they want to with the result!

Why is it sad ? I reckon NZ will lose this but I can root whoever I want. I like SL anyway, but the fact that beating NZ can potentially help Pak top the group is even sweeter.

I don't give a damn about who we face. I want Pakistan to finish at the top of the group regardless of the competition.

why don't they anymore reduce the no. of overs to achieve the target in for the side that doesn't finish 50overs while bowling!

NZ really struggled with their over rate ... in the older days.. they'd have been chasing this target in like 46-47 overs!

You mean like an amazing team that gets everyone out in 25 overs should have there overs reduced or have you typed it wrong!

How the kiwis handle the Sri lanka spinners will decide who wins this game!
 
Jayawardene is going to get sledged by teams in the coming games. He is lucky they have already played Australia.
 
This is why I always said that chasing in Sri lanka under lights is never easy.The weather helps bowling side at night.
