A woman in India has allegedly murdered her husband because she was upset that he wasn’t handsome, police has claimed.

The 22-year old woman, who tied the knot about a week ago, attacked her husband fatally following a quarrel. She smashed his head with a grinding stone, which led to his death.

The woman’s husband was a wood sculptor in his mid 20s. According to police, the 22-year-old harboured hatred for him because her friends and family said he was not handsome and not a good match for her.

After she attacked him, she claimed someone had murdered her husband. However, after investigations, she was arrested on the charge of killing him.

The woman was remanded to judicial custody after appearing before a local court.

I knew this was in my state as soon as I read that she used a grinding stone :))). On the other hand, this is probably a fake news.

Why did she marry the guy if he found him that ugly

That's what demoncrazy brings you : crooked, insatiable politicians and fiery feminism.

Some news coming (maybe to garner sympathy for the woman) was that the guy was forcing himself on her and it was an abusive marriage. Whatever be the case, she should be behind bars for murder.

And this news is from Tamil Nadu, my favourite state in India.

For some reason this young lady doesn't strike me as the placid doormat type....

One of my friend (Obese guy but tall and decent looking) got married to a girl (Arranged) a decade ago. With in 2 weeks after marriage, the girl ran away complaining that he is chubby, fat and unattractive.

That is why it is always a good idea to see your spouse before vows are exchanged:murali

Headline says she killed him, which actually is not true because she has denied the charge and there has been no trial yet. Not that one would expect professional journalism in that part of the world.

What has secularism Got to do with this incident?

Tool of lucifier: Enlightenment, one of the by-products of secularism where girls are entitled to stand "equal" with men. Where there's no respect of social roles and values and there's a race of economy and "prestige" which forces women to think and do un-natural things.

Hmm that's pretty deep I guess if you look deeply into it one can call it secularism But it's more like the patriarchcical society we live in..

Secularism enables patriarchal society where goals are material oriented rather than well-being of everyone.

I am 110% sure that she is not the killer.

Indian policy (and overall justice system) is well founded on laziness.

They always (no exception) accuse, victim or victim's relatives.

1. Secularism is not capitilism and it does not lead to a materialistic society.
2. All major religions are patriarchal so the more religious a country is the worse off women are usually.
