Don't understand why I've no hot water. Have turned on the boiler many times but it won't heat up. There is a switch outside my bathroom that I've never noticed before that I have turned on. Is that to heat up the water? Have never had this problem before.

If your boiler is electric then a fuse might have blown due to over-current.

If your boiler is gas based you might not be getting gas supply or the pilot may not be lit.

It's electric. How do I check the fuse?

Your pressure has most likely fallen.

You just need to open the tap connected to the boiler until the pressure gauge rises to the safe zone and then turn the tap off and you're good to go.

I will take all advice given on board.

This is what forums are for. We can seek help over such matters:ma

When I opened the thread, it reminded me of the time when I'll be on the loo and the water would stop coming.. Then I have to shout at the top of my lungs "Amiiii pani chala deinnn".

I'm sure alot of you have had similar experiences :amir2
