The arrogant NZ fans on this thread will be in for a bit of surprise when the ODI series and WC comes around. My advice to them would be to keep their words soft and sweet as they may have to eat them later.

Pakistani's are probably more convinced they're going to the WC than most Kiwis. No one I know has gotten their hopes up and aren't even getting too far ahead of themselves.
 
What's the score, how many wickets or runs did pakistan lose by today?
 
Everyone hyping these practise matches a bit too much.

Let the real game begin and then only we'll be able to conclude. NZL team looks quite strong this time around. It will be a very competitive short series before the real fun starts.

If they can't back it up with winning or at least playing the final of this WC in their suitable conditions than they better stick to rugby after 1992 this is their best chance to win the WC.

memories of 1992 still fresh in my mind New Zealand was fav the way they were smashing everyone won 7 out of 8 matches in group stage and guess what the group match they lost was against pak lol and than they again lost to Pak in Semi-Final to rub the salt a bit more :p

We are humble when people actually put forward correct stats.

When people say pakistan are favourites when the records don't actually show that is when I start fighting back

Than Pakistan also knocked out them at the semis of T20 2007 WC. So basically when ever they had a chance of reaching the finals, Pakistan came in and knocked the poor guys out. Considering that i don't blame these guys for hating Pakistan.:)).

Trust me this team of yours is better than what you had in 92 and if you can't do it this time than it will be a disappointment even for neutrals you should at least reach final.

No it won't as no one has gotten their hopes up.

Maybe if they make the Final and lose, then maybe they'll feel disappointed.
 
Which odi team has the least number of "hacks" or mediocre players ? I am guessing WI or SL will have the most..

Who knows? Maybe in the quarter final this time Amla will edge it off his beard rather than his boot :yk
