ODI#5: Pak V Eng: Pindi : Discussion and Scoreboard..

PK will lose now .. 207 to win ..
Harmison on this wicket will do damage ..

or will the BEAST prevail ..

BEAST 2 needs to make up for his 0 and crappy bowling .....

Look on the bright side. The beasts will have a good total to *chase*. (no pun intended)

Akhi, whats "galli cricket"?

Oh, I thought that three wickets in three successive legitimate deliveries would be considered a hat-trick even if intersprersed with a wide or no-ball.

Thanks, for the clarification, akhi.

street cricket, akhi

Come on guys that is only a little negative at the end. If Pakistan can make 190 then they can make 206 no probelm.

Razzaq bowled a brilliant first ball, but the last 3 were all length balls.

Still, good performance by Pakistan.....good match on here.

younis has done everything rite until now, who asked him to bowl razzy for last over!!!!

19 runs came in last over!!!!!

Whats with all these harsh words for Razzaq?????? Come on guys its a dead rubber...........enjoy it.

Danish 3 for 13 at 4.3 an over .... Who said the picth was turning????? (which way was it turning?)

He replaced by Mo asif who had 7 overs 14 runs for 2.0 an over

Last over should have been bowled by Mo Asif

Bad decision.....

guys its a dead rubber and I am saying if we can chase 180 then we can chase 210. Plz just let it go and enjoy the rest of the match.

They are showing the future of english cricket aka asians (on skysports)

now everyone is saying it..when he was replaed people were saying its a good decision..
common plz dont judge any decision after result..when the decsion wass taken no one news wats going to be result...so judge a decision by logic considering the situation at that time..not after the result..and rep[lacing asif by kaneria was a bad 0one as I said at the time when he made the subs...we neded asif for death over..for team and salso for reason that we needed to see how he perform under presure..
anyway good overall bowling and fielding by pak and good captainy too(overall)..
pak shud chase this target carefully..there is something in pitch...and they shudnt get carried away by small total

ITS a FACT

Pakistan Does not know How to Use Super-Sub. :12:

they didnt bowl Razzaq in the last match ..

they should have played Kaneria ..... and Razzaq be SS ......so he can only bat ...

You are comparing bowling at death (when teams are looking to slog) versus bowling at start of the match (when teams are looking to build an innings).

It is like comparing apples with oranges.

agree
on first one day when arshad was supersub and pak was bowling first and kaneria and company was going for lots of run..they didnt s ub arshad for kaneria .
today when asif was bwoling well they replaced him by kaneria..why??
if they give logic that pitch was turning tyhen why didnt arshad bowled his full quota when he was bowling well.
arshad bowls within limitation and he was better option then kaneria as far as containg the run flow is concern.

with the fielding contrain in first 10-20 over teams looks for slog unless they dont loss wicket.

Its very sad when arm chair critics like us all here criticize moves with the benefit of hindsight.

It was a very inspired move by Younis, looking at the turn in the wicket and calling in Kaneria instead of letting a debutant bowl at flintoff and kaneria did not disappoint going at 4 an over in last 10 overs.

:)))

Weren't you criticising Younis for being a reactive captain in the other thread?

Still no sign for miggy and oxy, some thing seems wrong, no "High alert security"?

What did he say of Solanki and Kabir?

He just said that solanki isn't good enough, and that plunkett has taken the swinging bowler role who can bat a little. And Charles (i think his called) the presenter dude said so much for attracting more asians (or something like that) :)))

I think Solanki should open in place of Prior, until they find a better one.

Charles Colville has given Bob a lot of stick on this tour. Every time Willis makes an ignorant or unfair comment Colville has been quick to latch onto it and come out with a genius reply. I bet inside Willis is thinking, "whos side are you on"?

shouldnt we have a new thread for the pakistani chase?

Similar Start here from us. Lets see what Fisherman can do, mind u Salu is turning into a bit of a fisherman himself.

18-1

where is everyone????

i've put 5 posts on in a row now?

Waqar thinks fisherman is a solid opener...hahahahahahahaha

hameed goes fishing to a wide ball...fisherman is taking the bait he needs to calm down

He can't even catch any fish. That's how worthless he is.

Yasir Hameed is very short on confidence and I see him falling anytime now.

Might as well. He is in so much misery that even I would recommend euthanisia at times like these.

Aren't many posters on for this one are there?

Yoohoo! Where is everybody?

4 runs to Hameed, just as I was saying that.

Mohammed Yusuf is also looking as clueless.

Should both of them be put down on humanitarian grounds?

Five posts without a response.

Have all of you been put to sleep by Pakistan's dynamic batting?

Or have the Mods gassed all of you?

37 for 2 now in 10.4 overs.

Guys this is getting eerie. Am I the only one on here?

And another 4, now. This time a good shot to the cover region.

Yasir on 17 now.

Pakistan 47 for 2 in 11.1 overs

great shot by ..

10.6 Anderson to Yasir Hameed, FOUR, Great shot! short in length, up off
his toes and punches it off the back-foot to deep cover for four,
delightful shot!

Yasir on Fire

11.2 Plunkett to Yasir Hameed, FOUR, short in length, on leg stump,
played a lovely pull shot to deep square leg for four

Yasir is now becoming a fireman

Okay, Yasir unfurling those gorgeous shots now. Yes, this is the Yasir that thrilled us so, when he first burst upon the international arena.

Another 4, this time pulled to deep square leg.

Yasir on 21, Pakistan 52/2

Yasir Hameed is playing quite well. He's in the 20s now - dangerous territory. He often fishes because of lack of concentration - he has to keep his focus - he's fighting for the top spot in the team.

Yasir Hameed actually has quite a decent one day average, infact, better than anybody in the English side.

Amongst Pakistanis I think only Yohanna and Inzi have a better average than him.

He averages in the high 30s, 38 I think. His problem has been consistency - he made 5 consective 50s (and a hundred) in that NZ series, but then fell away.

zaf1986!

Glad to see you mate!

We are a bit starved on company in here today.

17 more runs to get to guarantee Hameed an average of 38 runs in one day cricket.

Only 17 more batsmen in world circket right now have a better average than him.

Weekday I suppose akhi, thats why.

Holidays celebrating the birth of Hazrat Isa (as) for me ;-)

England have bowled 8 wides already!

Loads of extras in this match. Pakistan gave away 22!

He's a good player - of that there is no question. He just needs to tighten up his shot selection and concentration. There is only one Shahid Afridi and he has to realise that.
