1) bouncer gayle trys to hook it he edges it well over the keeper for FOUR RUNS
2) punch straight back down the ground for TWO RUNS
3) TWO RUNS- punched back down again
4) NO RUN-punched to afridi
5) TWO RUNS- bad ball down legside easily hit away for a couple
6) FOUR RUNS- abosulty smashed from outside ofstump
 
we gave more extras to them even then what our top scorer scored
 
Guys - this match is slippin away as we speak....

Pak score is unbelievable which makes you think that the SAfricans are damn good !

Anyway, I am totally gutted by our performance and will now take the honorable route out.... ( sound of gunshot - then silence )
 
Windies started in a flaser with 33 off 9, looks like we are gonna lose, it only has been 2 days, and we need rain to save us now. Windies will set a target of 500, which is impossible and then Pak cannot bat for 2 days...because they are Pakistan without Inzi and Yoyo. Even in Mohali, when we should have lost, it was those two who brought us back, and now they are not here.
 
If this was the situation on day 3 or 4 then I would say Pakistan could draw, as for a win its looking further and further out of reach especially without Inzi or Yoyo. Right now the Windies are hot favorites.
 
Pakistan has a history of bringing out of form batsman in form and teams out of bad patch. It has happened so many times against Pakistan.
 
Only if Rana , Shabbir and Kaneira
can get WI out for around 150

we can still win this game
 
I highly doubt it. We can not score 250 runs at this moment. We have lost it guys. Eat well and go to sleep!!
 
Is Shabbir capable of bowling two consecutive deliveries on the same line and length? And he was supposed to be our answer to McGrath according to some people on this site, bring back Shoaib and Sami, I don’t care if they go for runs at least once in a while they will actually get batsmen out rather than wait for the batsmen to make mistakes, Fidel showed how pace can be destructive if combined with line, length and consistent pace.

In test cricket we’re never going to compete with the top teams with medium pacers and one that chucks at that, I mean if your gonna chuck either get some damn pace out of it or a consistent line and length, I’m giving up and going to watch Bangladesh only, they have put up a decent fight in the second innings than Pak did in their first innings against WI, just send me some fish and rice and some darkening cream so I can morph into a proper Bangladeshi
 
Oh dear!!

We are badly missing Inzamam and Youhana. To loose both premiere batsmen was always going to be a big blow. Fidel Edwards has bowled brilliantly and very fast. It's never over till its over.

First the plumb lbw tht wasn't appealed for by us agianst Smith.......we needed tht wicket to get some excitement kicked in...

N now mr kaneria decides to cum frm the wrong end.....shud've cum frm the otha end to exploit tht rough patch n get couple of wickets

I wonder wot will get us a breakthrough.........................................
 
See we have a quality to bring out the best of our oponent. No sure how we got away with Ganguly. His best chance was against Pakistan.

No negativity here but it just happens to us so often.

My god! Are you sure, if so we must be one of the worst teams around, South Africa are definetly very stong in both batting and bowling so they beat them but we are looking very week in both area.
 
there has been no bite in Pak bowlinig in either innings...

especially in this one
no balls missing the bat..edges...catches dropped

We still have good 30 overs to bowl. Not sure about how much time is left. Looks tight though.

good move by YK. Personally think that Afridi should have bowled more than 6 overs in the first innings.
 
If Lara falls now then Pakistan has a chance. He has to fall today before end of the day.

They must not form a patnership get Lara out as soon as possible and chanderpaul

Pakistan need to keep their nerve. They need to think positive and that menas thinking about getting Lara out. If they fear him and go on the defensive Lara might destroy them.
 
if we get Lara now Chanderpaul will follow because he can not hold the team together when hes in the early stages of his innings
 
YK is not using Afridi well. 6 over in 1st innings and now changed so quickly. What is he thinking?

i agree....the guy is playing more as a bowler who can bat..

and he isn't bowling enough
 
yk has been doing a good job and is still attacking which is a good sight and a rare one - nearly 300 runs down but he realises a couple of wickets and we are into their tail
 
Again you guys this is why Afridi was taken out:

Saj agreed, Afridi should have bowled more in the 1st innings.
