Was on fire in that series. Also had a 6fer against Australia i guess.

I wanna see this type of fast bowling again. Only Steyn provides it really.

England were so poor during this tri-series, despite playing on home soil they didn't win a single match.

Remember that game, his bowling was decent but he had a lot of things go his way. Also remember his bowling was starting to become a burden on the team, he kinda turned it around with that performance (and saved his spot and captaincy), had a mini-revival. Actually helped him find some form

That was good but his 6fer was even better against australia in good batting conditions

It was a continuation of their rubbish 90's ODI side. In fact, this triseries was a turning point of sorts. They got rid of trundlers such as Mullally and Ealham and left out Croft as well. Started backing Caddick regularly instead.

20 years - wow !

Final was like a carbon copy of 1999 though :(

The tresco wicket, still remember that delivery to the day. He had scored a 120 something in the previous game.

Also the collision between Afridi and Malik while taking a catch was scary and amusing at the same time. Afridi was barely shaken while Malik was injured quite badly.

Yet people still say all his wickets were down to ball tempering and umpiring and he had no skills and what not.

For a young person with no knowledge of seam, swing, conditions, pitches etc, Waqar was far more pleasing to the eye than Wasim. He knocked those stumps down more frequently.
