Ordering From Online Stockist - Safe?

Hello, I'm new to this forum. I want to know if I should order from onlinestockist.com? Currently they have a crazy deal for the SS Master 7000 bat, which is grade 1 for only $150! That sounds way too good to be true, so is it safe to order from there. I have tirelessly searched online forums such as this one and custombats.co.uk, and found mixed reviews.

Some users, predominantly Knightrider, praise onlinestockist as if they are Ajit's sons or something, and others have had good experiences.

But some users have been down right scammed, such as one user on custombats who lost $500 from a lost shipment, and the owner of the site, Ajit, didnt reply.

So it's like 50-50, some have had good buying experiences, some scammed. I am looking to order the Master 7000, SS Limited Edition Gloves (the ones KC Sangakarra uses), and SS Test Opener Pads. They are currently half off at a crazy low price. So please advise me whether I should buy from onlinestockist.

I emailed their 'Contact Us' email, and I recieved pictures of 4 Master 7000 bats. I don't know if it was the infamous Ajit that emailed me, but they said to me to pick out which Master 7000 out of the 4 that I wanted, and that they would give me that one.

How can I for certain be sure that I am going to get my bat, pads, and gloves? I really do not want to be scammed for $260. Please help, thanks.

I started an online store few months back. So I can tell that their website seems quite good. But I can’t tell you how is the book from its cover only. This is the job of people who have an experience with the mentioned seller.

He is a decent seller especially price wise and hand picks most his bats. Don't go by CBF they just hate Asian brands and sellers. For them it's all about English batmakers and sellers.

Just make sure you tell him to send it via a reliable courier as sometimes he tends to use cheaper couriers and it could be a issue.

And he does normally have a sale on for one particular bat every few months this time it's the S'S master 7000. I got a SS Le few years back when it was on offer and price is double of that for what I paid.

Try negotiating a offer for SS master 9000. They are excellent bats and higher model. He might sort you a good deal for it.

It is perfectly safe to order from online stockist and I have been using them for for a very long time over 6 years and I buy cricket kit every season and I have never had problems.

Always some good deals on website and on facebook page. Most bats are very good quality and yes I have posted pictures of my own bats I got from ols in my Ton slasher topic.

Bats are shipped from India and I normally receive mine within 10 days after ordering.

I have purchased bats, kits and cricket balls from SF. They are perfectly safe to order from. OLS are best when it comes to SS,TON,SG and SF brands. What I would recommend is to try and order the bats which they post on FB as you get to see the bat and know the weight before buying it. Also, its best to go for the standard factory made bats. OLS is not great if you planning to get a custom bat as per your specs. OLS gets the bats made by the makers and sometimes things can get lost in translation. So stick to the standard 'as is' shape,weight etc. and you will definitely not be disappointed by the bats.
