Here's another pancake of a pitch ,hey MOYO might break all the standing records in this match.
 
may be we are hoing that mo yousaf has full opportunity to break viv Richards record(insha alla he will)

they were having some fun with it yesterday in the ashes lunch time cricket show on channel nine
 
Sarwan, Gayle and Chanderpaul as the menacing spin trio. I bet Mohd Yousuf is shivering already.

Simon O'Donnel who hosts it asked Phil Tufnell ??? what would he do or say to the English team. Tuffnel said he will go talk to the team and we may do a Pakistan (or did he say Inzi) and not come out for 30 min after lunch. Later he said he has asked Inzi to talk to the boys
 
poor pooor , shameless and naegative PCB for making such a poor wicket. It makes for no fun viewing.

i agree, with him , Pakistan team has the 39-6 in their minds from a livley wicket and scared they would lost. They should be men and make competivite tracks and not thinkg about draw
 
its not pcb its Inzi, well we know who to blame when all the batsmen fail in africa
 
looks like they made this pitch for MOYO only so he can break the record...wht a waste of 5 days of cricket..
 
To all those condemning the pitch, PCB, Inzi, Babu The Toilet cleaner etc....

Like its the first hour of a 5 day match - WI havent batted yet - come to think of it - even Pak havent batted on it !!

Can we save the eternal damnation atleast until the end of the first day - please ?

exactly....i was gonna say that too.......but i am still having issues!
 
got to say pitch doesn't look condusive to the new ball...famous last words..similar to the multan pitch.
 
did you guys see the dust coming out of the grass when Chanderpaul just stopped the ball. not much grass in outfield either I suppose
 
Some ppl just dont understand cricket. Multan was suppossed to be the flattest wicket in the world and we were a held catch away from probably losing the match. This pitch has low bounce and some cracks already. It will not be easy to bat on days 4 and 5 and if you put the ball in the right areas, batsmen will struggle. Its amazing how ppl jump to conclusions in the first 20 mins of a test match!
 
wow you guys really love ragging on the PCB. The match started less than half an hour ago and everybody's already ****** about the pitch.
 
Oh man did you all see that guys carrying a big ole thali full of pakoar's ,yum yum ,Made me hungry .......... oh how i miss street foods from karachi.

my question is who is allowed to change the pitch the curator had grass on it and it was shaved off in the morning, who made the decision, it would be good to know the name of the person making the decision

The pakistani captain has the say so ,and we all know him as Inzi ( gutless wonder )
 
i havent seen slip fielders so close to the batsman on a fast bowler :) i donno it's funny or sad... n yeh i'm not commenting on pitch MODS

Taylor to Imran Farhat, no run, good length ball outside off stump, swinging in nicely, Farhat looks to drive on the up but gets inside half of the bat, ball rolls to mid-on

Taylor to Imran Farhat, FOUR, short of length ball on the off stump, straightening this time, Farhat looks to defend on the back-foot, ball takes the outside edge, through the slip cordon to thirdman fence
 
If this pitch is as everyone says it is, it makes the decision by the windies to drop Dave Mohammad even more crazy. If its true, then why would the windies pick an extra batsmen. This to me says its a bit of an unknown in the pitch.

From what I can read on cricinfo, the pitch is dry, but there have been a couple of play and misses from Hafeez.
