PAK vs WI 3rd Test 1st Day

Why cant our batsmen miss the fielders. Are they just spending time for batting practice not to score the runs.

the morning session is always a difficult one in Karachi so it is fine that they are negotiating the early session for now. Runs will come on their own
 
This is real slow by Pakistan. True the pitch is not one for stroke-making but its not a minefield either. Its criminal to go at 2.20 RPO on the first day of a test match, as its the first day that sets the tone for the match. Pretty poor so far

Difficult, how? Ball is coming on the bat there is no bouce and there is no swing so what is stoping them. Unless Pak team managment has decided they want to draw the game.
 
Powell looks like the only bowler we will get runs off. Others are choking Pakistan like anything!

the ball is doing something off the pitch and there is some variable bounce which is always on the back of the batsman's mind. Anyways, Pakistan starting to open up as Younis plays it supremely well down the ground for 4

Its not a bad pitch to bat on. Only the bounce is the problem here, otherwise ball is coming onto the bat and there is very little movement. We are playing too defensively for some reason. Hafeez looked to play attacking shots but these two........

First that straight drive where he almost looked like falling over and then this chinese cut.

Yaar, that is a cheap shot. We all know that no "Average" cricket fan will sit and watch a test match and then be on Pak Passion at same time.

Anyhow, test match is played to win. In order to win you need to score runs. Anyhow Farhat just hit another four. so I take this all back
 
Lara is clearly wanting Farhat to go for a swashbuckling drive and get himself out with this enticing length and line daren is bowling. Thankfully, Farhat is showing some patience

Short and wide one is smacked away for 4 through covers by Farhat

Both these guys are starting to up the ante .... 20 runs in last 3 overs.
 
Under half an hr to the end of the session. Must not lose another wicket and the session will be ours.
 
does any one else find it ironic that Haroon Rashid is talking about bouncy and seaming wickets.....the man himself was one of the biggest FTBs!

Well I am not sure. I think Ian Bishop introduced Haroon Rasheed as Wasim. or May be Imagined it as well
