Ian Chappell once famously said about the Akmal brothers, even if they are as good as Bradman, it doesn’t justify them playing as a keeper. Rizwan is the most athletic keeper Pakistan has had in a long long time. One must be blind not to acknowledge that.If you list most famous Pak losses in history- 7/10 will be fielding/keepings fault.

I think you are blind to have ignored the fact that even his staunch detractors acknowledge he is a good keeper.

He’s just not a T20 batter/opener. That’s it. So he can get lost.

The types of pitches they had in Pakistan between 2022-24, you can't really blame any bowler for not taking wickets on those surfaces. They were complete flat roads with nothing in them. Before that 2019-21 he was bowling well in Pakistan and taking wickets. Now let's see how he does in this new spin-friendly era. He did take a 4-fer against South Africa in Lahore where he used reverse-swing to great effect. But his effectiveness is also dependent on if there is another seamer playing with him. He is not cut out for the sole seamer role which IMO is a stupid strategy to begin with.

IN world T20 you are not going to get pitches like this. They will be good batting tracks. I don't think they care about these results
