Pakistan (148/0) thrash Zimbabwe (145) by 10 wickets in the second ODI to level the 3-match series 1-1

Trevor Gwandu cricket fans can cry/laugh all they want.

Saim Ayub is Baby Sharjeel Khan, and hopefully he will fulfil the potential of what Sharjeel could have been.

Saim Ayub in his man of the match post-game talk:

Q: Thoughts on today's victory:

We have already forgotten the first game, and we will try to forget this game. We will focus on the present and take it one day at a time.

Q: Thoughts on today's pitch:

"The wicket in the first game was sloppy and the weather was also different. Today it was slower again and sloppy from one end of the pitch. So I had to be careful as I could not play all the shots."

Q: Any special preparation for this sort of wicket:

"We practice for all types of wickets not just for slow wickets or any one type of wicket."

Abrar Ahmed post match talk in press conference:

Q: On the extent of pressure in his debut ODI:

First of all thanks to Almighty ALLAH. Yes, the pressure of playing an international match always exists and given how we lost in the first ODI, the pressure was there. But I had a belief in my bowling and was waiting for an opportunity so I decided to stick with the basics of my bowling and also credit to Rizwan Bhai that he backed me up and told me that he would give me the chance (to bowl) with the new ball and also in the middle overs as per situation. So it is greatly encouraging when a captain gives you that confidence and as I stuck with the basics of my bowling so it went well for me.

Q: Views on bowling in partnership with Salman Ali Agha and Faisal Akram:

Also we spinners bowled really well in combination be it Salman Ali Agha or Faisal Akram. Both of them bowled well and consequently we spinners did quite well today

Q: Thoughts on Saim Ayub

Everybody knows that whenever he plays, he is capable of turning the match into a one-sided affair. He is a very talented lad and I have my best wishes for him that he keeps performing in the same manner to help Pakistan win more matches in the future.

Q: Thoughts on pitch:

The ball was gripping well in the start but eventually the conditions started to become more conducive for the batting in the later phase of the match and the result is also before everyone of us.

Great stuff from Saim.

These matches are all about following the Indian youngsters model and going hell for leather to showcase your capabilities against weak opposition.

Lovely lovely batting.

Abrar Ahmed can be useful against those who hasn't played him, like India,Aus,SA
But you think he is goind to be harder than one of those Afhganistan spinners to pick? Afhganistan followed by Srilankan spinners lead the myster spinners pack
