What's new

Pakistan (182/7) thrash Afghanistan (116) by 66 runs in the 3rd T20I; Afg win series by a 2-1 margin

Rizwan was genuinely about to get a slap from Nathan Lyon in the second Test too when Australia were looking to bowl Pakistan out the 3rd session day 5

Rizwan started this nonsense and others are also catching on.

Can't compare Rizwan's antics with Gurbaz's. Nothing similar about them.

Did Rashid really look nervous at the toss? I can't imagine that. Is Amir Sohail making things up again?

Hated how he walked up to Nabi and shook his hand. You could see how Nabi didn't give an eff about it.

Didn’t see this but he will learn. He is a big guy and pretty powerful as seen by his express pace.

Right now he has to play the “good boy” whilst he is still a junior player. He will come into his own soon when he too is a superstar!

Afghanistan should really hang their heads in shame for not white-washing such a weak Pakistan team.

Aamir is doing praise of Afghans too much because he has a chance of being hired by them and get that free ICC moolah

Saw a funny comment on Junaid Khans instagram comments section yday trolling him for sucking up to the Afghans on socia media so they give him a bowling coach role lol

Poor ball from Nawaz. Nabi made room so early but he still bowled it right in his arc

Praise the associates

There is a lot of money to take in if you get a job with them

He's not a junior player. He plays for the Pakistan National team - that is as senior as it gets. If you are talking about experience, that should not have anything to do with your attitude on field. Did Wasim, Waqar or Shoaib every play the "good boy"?

Fast bowlers need to have a persona from the very first day - a personality that puts fear in the batsmen. Currently, we're not seeing it from Ihsan.

It's better if your bowling puts fear in the batsmen. Ihsanullah's does.

I agree with you… I’m trying to give him a little leeway but I agree. Haris was aggressive from day 1.

I will give him a little leeway though as he settles into the side.

The pathetic mass of meat and fat sitting on the bench would have fumbled that stumping

Nabi could have been someone who can take the game away, still batting to come, but should back Pak to win from here.

What a poor average Najib has

Fair. I have a lit of time for Ihsan. I hope he learn from the greats and sees fast bowlers around the world and try to emulate them. I truly despise seeing overly friendly fast bowlers.

Oh man! What a talent this kid is :)

I mean, bouncing out Afghans is nothing spectacular but he's got a lot of potential.

What more aggression do you need Snowflake ? Issa ullage just made another brown man bleed :)) . He didn’t go and apologise to him either which was good to see. Stood there aggressively!

Listen to the way he talks. He is a very naive fellow probably hasn't got a lot of exposure..Haris was a slick city boy.

The importance of playing a fit proper keeper cannot be underestimated.

How are you naive as cricketer? Growing up as a fast bowler, there's no way he did not look up to Wasim/Waqar/Shoaib/Lee and others?

Fire from Ihsanullah - killer instinct too. This is Pakistani fast bowling

Ihsanullah what a monster

He is what Rauf wants to be!

Rauf is too short, they are two different guys. Ihsanullah has serious red ball potential and he is the type who would be successful even if he slowed down a bit.

Haha good to see! I'm loving this!

Just hope he builds on this.

This is how Afghanistan should have been treated in thr last 2 games.

Embarrassing to lose the series

Ihsan will become world class.

This has been a good series to identify the good from the bad. They need to arrange more of these.

Ihsanullah rattling the batsmen with pace n bounce on a dead Sharjah pitch is something rauf can't do

It's ok.

Nothing embarrassing about losing a bilateral while experimenting. We need to take results in such series less seriously and focus on the bigger picture.

Dead rubber anyways. Afghanistan has won the trophy and defeated pakistan to clinch their first series win off them.

Now afghanistan has to beat india who have an undefeated record against Afghanistan i guess

How come Afg can produce an opener like Gurbaz and we can't? Is he eligible for Pakistani citizenship, should get signed up asap if so!

Edit: he's out!
Afghani players have high averages and strike rates because a lot have played associate cricket. Let's filter the stats and see how good Gurbaz really is.

He is good. Islamabad united does not play local openers, hey have kept gurbaz for 2-3 seasons now.

You dont need stats to see how the guy bats. He is a talent and the best keeper batsman ever to come from afghanistan.

Also, afghanistan does not play associate cricket. They have full membership its been 4 years since they played associates

You really want to say something like that? That's pretty weak tbh.

Would love to see ishanullah hit one on fareed ahmads face. Really hate the guy, seems to be quite a batameez

No but if you are wondering why we don't have an opener like him. The guy averages 25 with a strike rate of 130 playing 20 of his 41 matches against Ireland, Bangladesh, and Zimbabwe.

Please don't talk about franchise cricket, international cricket is a different cup of tea.

Because its a fact. They took the series and they are playing yheir bench strrength against us.

I am just saying that saying things like "oh I don't care about this game anyway" when you are on the verge of losing is a pretty cry-baby look. Nothing else.

How am i on the verge of losing? Pakistan is winning

Avg of 25 is not bad for t20 crickrt.

My guy we routinely mock our openers who average 45+ with the same strike rate. And yearn for players like Gurbaz. Just saying his output isn't that great statistically.

Azmatullah Omarzai has been approved as a concussion substitute for Najibullah Zadran.

This guy is getting predictable. If he does this to top teams he will be hammered like that odean smith guy who was bowling at 148 kph but getting pummelled at the same time.
