Against uae whatever team they put up will win my concern is part time bowling saim agha and faheem not good enough better teams will exploit them either make farhan keep and drop m haris bring in specialist spinner abrar or drop faheem and bring in abrar

They will probably play the same team as yesterday.
Those days are gone. Hesson will probably play salman mirza today. Against india, pakistan would probably have shaheen mirza haris and muqeem and nawaz along with the part timers of saim and salman

With these leagues around the world, Pak shouldn't take UAE lightly. They have enough experience of this format.
Pakistan are currently at a position where they should not take any team lightly. It has not ended well. Even teams like USA can defeat them.

Why this hasan pathetic ali in the playing 11.i hope he scores a scintillating knock of 50 runs with ball. Loser of highest level

He is Hesson second favorite after Faheem useless Ashraf. I think Hesson think him as bowling all rounder who will give him 30 of 10 in batting even if he don't do too good in bowling.

Good decision to rest Haris &Shaheen, pity Abbas Afrid is not in the squad and currently there is no substitute for Mohd Haris.

No crowd. Why is there a team of UAE if no one there comes to support their team?
This is essentially a team of sub-continental expats. If there were 1-2 Emiratis in the team that would generate some interest among the locals. Most of them, outside of expats, don’t really understand cricket. Most are soccer fans

Some streaky edges for Saim but nice to see him hit some sixes and get into the flow of runs. Needs an inning where he can go big and hopefully that gets him going like that stretch we saw before his injury.

They don't understand Football either

It is time for fans to accept the reality. Babar and Rizwan are far better than him in T20Is in the top 3 positions.
You gotta let ba/riz go fam(in t20 only), I respect you alot which is why I had to let go Sam Konstas go and trust in Cameron Green instead.

I advise you to listen to me in this matter. 2021 is history.

Fakhar is a consistent 100 to 120 SR batsmen which works wonders in odi but never does in t20
Yes Fakhar has been short of runs recently.

Fakhar could do this to the best in his prime with a high SR. I still remember him caning Starc for sixes in the final overs. Being constantly in and out of the team due to fitness issues does not help your rhythm.

Ward and Stoinus took the game away from us that night. The dropped catch by Hassan was the final nail in the coffin.

He is 35. He's more or less at the end of his career.

There is no point in letting them go when you are replacing time with an inferior version. There is no justification for picking Fakhar over Babar and Rizwan in this format. The sample size is too big to ignore the reality.

He could not develop more range of shorts apart from onside slog or running down the wicket and slogging on leg side to pacers…

Babar avg 16 and 25 in wc t20 2022 and asia cup 2022. Rizzu was no better avg 23 and 25 respectively.

In 2024 this was followed up with an improved avg of 41 and 37 but sr of 101 and 90 from the pair.

Since then it's only gotten worse and worse.

Rizwan has been striking at less than 110 in the last two years in T20Is. That’s just not good enough sorry to say. Not even associates will keep such mediocrity around.

Babar’s stats have been better but a deep dive into the phases show that his powerplay SR is terrible.

You have a point but most batsmen are stronger on the leg side.

Even someone like Viv, who could hit the ball anywhere, most of his big sixes were on the on-side

About Fakhar people don't realise that in odi he just like babar and rizwan tends to have similar scores for the first 40-50 deliveries.

Multiple times fakhar has had scores of 27 of 40, 31 of 50 etc etc.

The difference is that unlike ba/riz, once he has gotten set and absorbed 50 deliveries he tends to up his rate to 120SR. Secondly unlike ba/riz, Fakhar tends to hit monster totals.

Fakhar can be on 31 of 50 and then be on 180 of 120 at the end of the innings.

But he's never attacked from the get go. He's onpy done it 3x in his career.

123 of 74 vs NZ, 210 vs Zimbabwe and 91 of 46 vs Australia which was in t20.

He's basically a superior version of babar and rizwan in odi. Cause unlike ba/riz who after getting 30 of 50 will continue on qith a painful 100 of 125.

Fakhar will get a 150 of 100, or a 120 of 80. He tends to accelerate after hes played 40 to 50 deliveries

Give any player a 100 chance and they will have couple such innings. 50 of 32 is not something mind-blowing either, it's pretty mid in terms of 50s in t20s.

Agree but KOs have a totally different level of pressure

That 55 was in the semifinal against the eventual winners
