4 bowlers strategy is fine if you have spinners who can bowl all day at an economy of 3 and provide sufficient rest to pacers.

But currently Pakistan don't have that luxury.

In recent times, the spinners have leaked runs at more than 4 rpo....and the captain is forced to bring back the pacers and overbowl them which leads to them losing their potency in later spells.

Hence, they need to play an all-rounder and that's why we see the likes of Faheem and Agha getting to play.

They don't rate the bowling of Saud Shakeel, Kamran Ghulam as a wicket-taking threat which leads to them being ignored for allrounders.

No one said Saud and Kamran Ghulam were all rounders or should be seen as all rounders, both should be picked as bastmen, if they fill in a few overs now and then job done.

Yeah our spinners are garbage and leak runs, thats why you dont pick 2 or 3 in the side, pakistans strength apart from a period when we played in UAE is pace. 3 pacers, 1 spinner is an ideal combo with a batting all rounder as a 5th bowler, the emphasis being they are strongest suit in batting.

Aghas bowling was part time and he aint an all rounder

For now it should be fahim at 7 and Nawaz at 8

You also have Qasim Akram or Mubasir who can be groomed for the number 6-7 position.

if thats the case pick you best 2 quick bowlers and spinner at 9, 10 and 11.

Doesn't need to be any of these. Just make balanced wickets, exactly like the ones we made for the South Africa home series which had something for the seamers and spinners but were good for batting if batsman applied themselves.

I am not sure how these batter's are and no offense to them but it seems to me most of the bulk scoring need to be done by Babar, Shan Masood and maybe Azhar Ali. With some cameo's from Rizwan/Imam.

Saud Shakeel has been averaging close to 50+ in the last couple years of Domestic.

Kamran had a slight form decline this season.

Azhar Ali stays, he averages 85 this season no way will they drop him as he nears 100 tests. A bad couple of tests means Shan will come for him not Saud.

Hopefully Saud gets a go at 5 above Salman as he is having a top season.

Babar follows Misbah's strategy.. In-form batsman will be benched for another player somehow..
