We can’t overlook this. It is shocking to see how Shaheen and Naseem are continuously looking toothless with the new ball for quite some time. Very easy for opposition top order to settle in and pick boundaries in the powerplay. As opposed to the opponents who have always threatened the Pakistan top order with much more potency with the new ball.
Both Shaheen and Naseem look much more in control and threatening with the softer, used ball after the 30 over mark as compared to a new hard and shiny ball with which they are lacking swing, zip and penetration!
Something needs to urgently be done to address this issue!
