And Raza Hasan rockets on to 12 off 54 balls with a single

Different players, different circumstances, different conditions, seven years ago, irrelevant history

and England yet to be tested against Pakistan in subcontinent after that , so nothing will change if england can do the same in tests. Even Pakistan won a few warmup games last year in england.

The games aren't in the subcontinent!!

England fans may be tossers but at least we never hide, and support the team through tough times!!

They are not much different and our team is better acclimatized to the conditions than England. Your support will sure be tested in the series.

Our team will be tested but not our support, our support is fiercely loyal, don't be insulting it now.

Compare that to the one Pakistan fan here when the B team loses a few wickets.

This game was best way to prove the critics wrong but Mr.Alam blew it awaY totally and there he will remain Domestic Hero for ever. should have scored a ton here but none batsmen stands out which is very sad...

Yup we expect a lot from our players and that is why we sometimes get angry. I don't know any of the english fans would be supporting their team if their players were involved in spot fixing.

Give me a break, We all saw how many people in the Barmy army have traveled in recent times compared to years ago when England were ****.

haha that is bitter nothingness, the barmy army was established and grew when we were rubbish!

Good rear guard action from these two.

Raza's almost faced the most number of balls by any Pakistan A batsman in this innings.

I believe a popular chant by the Barmy Army during the 90's went something like this:

We're **** and we know it!

Disappointed with the middle order. The top 4 all got starts, expected at least 1 to shine.

Hope we can get to 200 and bowl them out for 150 and then chase down 220 to win the match :)

And Pakistan U19 also rocketing along with 90/2 from 26 overs against Zimbabwe. This tukk tukk thing has reached every level of our cricket.

England were 121/5 but Cook was at crease and there is the difference.

I would suggest that PCBXI will do well to force a draw here over the next 2 days

The middle order disappointed big time especially the overhyped fraud Alam, and sarfraz Ahmed

who needs afridi:

61.2

Swann to Mohammad Talha, SIX, full from Swann, freeing his arms over mid wicket, good clean strike.

Talha!!!

And again:

61.6

Swann to Mohammad Talha, SIX, massive hit straight down, Swann under the hammer, good batting from Talha.

:)))

52* run partnership. Well played.

66.4
Tremlett to Mohammad Talha, FOUR, full, driven through covers, top batting.

Clearly Talha playing some good shots whilst Raza's grit is carrying him through.

Left arm offspin in form of monty troubling Pakistani batsmen again

I think there is good reason England play 2 spinners against pakistan

Panesar got his fifth wicket!

173/9! Well played Talha!

So Swann's being hit for sixes by our B team's tail enders huh? Just like how his love child here at PP predicted.

Well I bet you are a bit embarrassed by this lack of knowledge

What lack of knowledge? I merely stated that the barmy army's numbers have just started increasing a lot more now that they've started winning. I know they've been around for a while but their numbers were never as big as they are now.

Anyway Raza Hasan has become the top scorer of the match. Very embarrassing for certain domestic bullies. :fawad

yeah kind of embarrassing. But at least Fawad's the only one who so far (perhaps because he's been given a chance unlike others, but still point valid) shown he can score against international attacks with that test hundred in sri lanka and a few good ODI scores at a healthy average. But with a little international experience added with the fact he's by some distance the best Pakistan domestic batsmen, I expected better from Fawad.

Really wanted Usman to do well. Some day he's gonna get his chance in tests, the youngster looks very promising.

^ on one innings you are judging the players? They have all earned their spots in this team

PCB XI | 9/192 | 77 Overs | RR 2.49 | Trail by 77 Runs

Raza on 44* now!

they have I'm fairly pleased with the selection of the batsmen for this team, they all seem to be among the top performers in domestic. Just expected them to do better. Hope they do do better next innings.

Think PCB XI should do a sporting declaration :)

nah let them continue.

Game was looking pretty much over with 160 or so runs behind and three wickets left. Somehow these two Raza and Talha have reduced the lead significantly. Only around 70 runs now, so it's game on.

Glad we didn't declare beforehand. Guess never write off tailenders. Raza has a fifty now.

50 for Raza Hassan (first one in first class cricket) and 200 for PCBXI! Good fightback.

PCB XI | 9/200 | 79 Overs | RR 2.53 | Trail by 69 Runs

50 for Hassan and brings up 200 as well!

My lord, raza hasan has scored a frekin fifty for the first time in his life against the england where everyone else faild.

Raza Hasan seems to be our version of :shakib
Well played throughout the match by our bowlers. Who needs batsmen anyway?:gul

Sporting declarations make you look better than you really are :)

It happened in the last warm up match. That tailender got 98.

PCBXI declare, good stuff.

Declaration. England couldn't get out a guy who averages 11 in first class. :)))

Poor Mohammad Talha. After spending so much time in the middle he is going to bowl now.

England declared against ICC XI and won the match. Let's repeat that :)
well yes but we're the underdogs here, and 69 is a sizeable lead.

If they were struggling to get us out, might as well have kept batting especially with raza still going strong.

England declared when their best batsman on the day got out. And raza our best batsmen today was still in. Could of perhaps got a few more runs.

My post was meant to be for strike but you nipped in just before I did.

+ Confidence from his Batting
+ Confidence from his first inning Bowling
yeah don't think it'll effective him negatively.

Plus Talha did have a break while Raza put on a stand with the last wicket getting 27 runs. And gets tea to rest a little too.

PCB XI | 9/200 declare | 79 Overs | RR 2.53 | Trail by 69 Runs

Raza 50*, Ayub 33, Talha 31 | Panesar 5/57, Tremlet 2/30

I think Tea break played a role in Declaration, if it wasn't tea time they may have continued.
