Pakistan has the longest trophy drought out of Test nations who have won atleast one!

Since Pakistan won the 2009 WorldT20 in June 2009.

- England won 2010 World T20
- India won 2013 CT
- SL won 2014 World T20
- Australia won 2015 WC
- WI won 2016 World T20

Australia also won the 2009 CT whilst India won the 2011 World Cup and WI won the 2012 World T20 so these 3 countries have won 2 ICC tournaments since Pakistan last won there's!

Of course Bangladesh, SAF and NZ are yet to win their first ICC tournament so they are excluded.

Sad state of affairs for such a cricket rich nation!

For me, Asia cup with 4 out of 10 test playing nations is as important a trophy as Champions Trophy.

Compared to other sports and other teams - 8 years is not a long time but other nations have found success in that same time period and with a glutton of ICC tournmanents, we should have done much better.

Especially not having even reached the SF stage of the WorldT20 since 2012...

Historically - they have been poor in iCC tournaments but they are still a much better team now than Pakistan.

Us getting overtaken by WI in ICC tournaments since 2009 is very poor IMO.

1998 and 2000 were champions trophy only the name was changed to champions trophy as they changed the format as it was no longer a knock out tournament but it is the same tournament it's records come under champions trophy only by icc

What's even worse is that Pakistan have not won even one ODI World Cup Match since April 2015. In fact Pakistan have not won any ICC tournament matches since March 2016 - yes, that's right, for over 11 months!

It becomes worse when you think that is equal to roughly 330 days. Yes that's right folks THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY days.

You guys wanna know whats worse?

We have been eliminated in the group stages in 3 out of the last 4 ICC tournaments we have played. The exception being of course reaching the QF of 2015 WC.

Let that sink in...

We aren't even close to winning anything again anytime soon.
