Alright, guys. This possible defeat is reminiscent to when we lost our first match in the tri series against Australia and there was a situation of doom and gloom and comments such as pakistani fans deserve this humilation were passed.

I didnt believe that we were that bad to be defeated by Australia like that and made sure that i posted my opinion. Eventually as it turned out we defeated Australia twice with utter domination.

Now to raise the stakes, I am putting my forum reputation on the line and putting up a wager. If Pakistan fails to win the two matches against India in Asia cup, i would leave the forum till next year. Yes I agree ! For a surety Pak will win next two matches, if not they will surely win the final.

Reasons:

1.) They have good batting potential , they only require good shot selection
2.) Indian middle order batting is so weak that they can't chase more than 100 runs
3.) Indian bowling is heavily dependent on pie-chukers like jadhav who don't deliver you in the final.
4.) Indian bowling & batting is really weak too.

Hence there is more than 80 % chance that Pak will win this asia cup 2018. Mark my words.

I support my team but we have to accept the reality of our team's actual strength. India came to UAE after along tour, leaving their best player and furthermore most of their players don't have any experience about this ground, played 2 matches back to back and humiliate us like no tomorrow.

In the next match India will be more refresh and come more harder on us. Just because we won against Zimbabwe C team and Australia B team it does not make us any world beater. Fakhar would have gone for 3 if that no ball didn't save him and our performance will be same like last night.

We still have lots to areas to work on and we don't have quality players like top team.

The Indian team of the late 80s and the 90s was a Dungarpur-Azharuddin infested mess of cronyism and corruption. It took Ganguly to come in and change the culture and make them winners.

The Indian players of today are professionals thanks to the IPL. Players with multi-million dollar contracts don't develop mental blocks and a sense of inferiority. Not going to happen.

I would suggest that you read Mickey's comments about the match. It will give you an idea that the team lost track and didnt follow the plan which resulted in the loss.
