Wasim looking pleased with himself as the crowd roars because he's on the big screen.

Ijaz perfecting his 1 foot batting technique. Didn't help him though, he didn't contribute with the bat.

Both feet on the ground this time.

Venkatesh Prasad comes in to bowl. He bowled well.

Wasim looking like Hero Saab on the big screen during his half century. He top scored for Pakistan and provided for almost half of the team total.

Abdul Qadir during his only over of the match. It was the final over and India only needed 2 runs to win.

At the end of the day today the only autograph I ended up getting was Ajay Jadeja's cause I just happened to be sitting on the side where the indian team was in section 117 right at the front

Heh yea he did today for some odd reason. Anyone else fall asleep during the halftime show only to be woken up by the worst singer of the lot coming in last (that old guy singing "choti" something or another)

The only highlight I had today was when I shook Wasim Akram's hand when he was on stage during the halftime show. I was in the legendary bowler's presence twice in the day, the first one was early in the day, while the Pakistani players were throwing and hitting the ball around, I made him chuckle after I yelled "shot" at his straight drive back to the bowler.

Oh yeah, if any of you saw a bunch of guys running around with a flag on the field during the halftime show, I was in that group of Pakistani's, here are some pictures I have from the day.. last picture of me at Lahore Tikka House in the legendary rickshaw!

Just got home in Connecticut... 8 hour drive baby !!

well I met the little fellas ! yes I felt like the buddha uncle meeting his nephews !!

you guys were many out there.. next time inshallah we can get some signs going etc..

the match was wack, but the moment was priceless...

by the way.. highlight of the day was Qadir just being himself and Naveed Anjum for Pakistan taking a 1 handed blinder of a catch..

and also Tauseef watching the ball land in front of him (dropped chance in 1st over).

TORONTO: In an exhibition match of veteran cricketers played here, India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets.
Pakistani veterans could score only 109 runs which the Indians crossed for the loss of three wickets.
Indian cricketer Uttal Vasan was given the man of the match award while Aaqib Javed of Pakistan was awarded the best bowler prize.
The match was witnessed by 25 thousand people.
Uttal Vasan said that people came to the stadium in such large number just because of the fact that the match was being played between the rival teams in the backdrop of Canada’s participaction in the cricket World Cup.

25000!?!? I really do not think it was anywhere near that amount

the stadium capacity is like 60K+ ... and only the lower tier was occupied. There were few in the mezzanine section, but mainly only the lower level was occupied, and I guess that could be a capacity of 15-18K ..

when we got there at 915, the stadium was empty. . and match was delayed to 1115am and reduced to 45 overs, but PK didnt know about that as they just wanted to go back I guess...
