What did Sarfaraz do in all those mathces we won. Nothing. In all the mathces Babar performed, or Fakhar or Imad or Shadab or Hafeez or Shaheen or Amir. I only remember one against NZ at Eden Park in his 3 year stint as captain. His leadership had very little to do with it. It was the players who performed. I am no fan of spray gun Shinwari but his treatment has been absolutely appalling.

Surprisingly dropped before the WC for a teenager. The very next series he's brought back in then all of a sudden he is dropped again. Absolutely nothing in that process was justified at all.

Make your mind up on the guy Misbah. Either he's good enough or he isn't.

I have a feeling there is going to be significant insecurity under Misbah's helm and the players are going to be forced to play selfishly for their spots every single game.

The issue with Shinwari is the severe fluctuations in his performance levels. One day he is brilliant, the other he loses us a match single-handedly.

He is a good bowler, the only issue is the consistency of length which is the same problem with Shadab as well. Shadab bowls it too full or too short. Usman has a tendencies to bowl half trackers.

It is not even about how good or bad he is (not international material but anyway). It is about the fact that he has a massive chip on his shoulder.

Just because he is Qadir’s son doesn’t mean that he entitled to play for Pakistan.

He played only one F/C season and he was so pathetic he didn’t get another opportunity, and he started to cry about favoritism (even though his father was a legend) and how it was his dream to play international cricket for Australia.

He went to Australia, did well in club cricket but unsurprisingly failed in BBL where he eventually got dropped.

After burning his bridges in Pakistan by openly expressing his desire to play for Australia, he got a massive reality check in Australia who made it clear to him that he has no chance of playing for them, and thus he returned to Pakistan with egg on his face.

Instead of working hard on his bowling in Pakistan and putting in the hard yards like everyone else, he labored under the delusion that he could actually make it in Australia when he couldn’t in Pakistan.

He also had the gall to state that he has been mistreated because he is Qadir’s son. Imagine - according to his highness, it is a disadvantage to be the son of a legend.

He is an entitled, deluded brat who thinks it is his right to play international cricket even though he doesn’t have the talent for it. I don’t think Pakistan cricket needs another show-off leg spinner when we already have one.

His underserved and unjustified selection is largely thanks to his friendship and family ties with Babar and Akmal family and perhaps also as a tribute to his late father.

However, it is a slap on the face of the superior spinners in Pakistan who are thousand times better than him and haven’t consistently failed like him at professional level.

I hope he gets picked for his “experience in failure” in Australia and gets smashed like no tomorrow, because that is exactly what he deserves.

He is pretty decent and should have been given more chances in ODIs as his strike rotation is one of the best amongst our young domestic batsmen. I think it was tough on him in T20s at no 3 especially in SA when the team was chasing 180+ and 190+ because he and Babar were both playing well but at their own pace and both of them needed someone more aggressive as partner. He ist exactly a no3 batsman as he has rarely played at that number in domestic cricket so the situation he was in didnt give a good image of his to the outside.

Why is he shameless? To try to find opportunities and to fulfill his dream of playing international cricket? The way some people here judge others, it looks like either there are a lot of people here who are saints and never made a mistake in their lives or are hypocrites as there are no two ways to put it. While personally I dont think he said right things and did right things but to err is human and if we as a nation are big hearted enough to accept Amir, we shouldnt be calling names to Usman Qadir.

In T20s maybe but a lot of technical deficiencies are present to have all these 3 to bat in top 4 in LOIs.

Also you are forgetting Haider Ali who is probably the most decent young batsman we have got after a long time along with Omair Yousuf who is also doing well and they both are technically sound too. I like the look of Ali Imran and Rizwan Hussain and their fearless attitude but they arent technically sound and consonant enough atm.

From the numbers, Zahid Mahmood looks like he performed the best. 2nd lowest economy among that group, 9 wickets in 5 games. A leggie too. He doesn't have good FC or List A numbers but excellent T20 numbers. Maybe should be worth a look in only T20's.
