They should have chased and won both matches but the pitch did start to break up and play tricks.
So far this pitch has held up pretty well, not really turned a lot. Maybe come day 5 it will but I reckon if it does hold up then a 200 score should be chased down.
I can not see New Zealand scoring 250 in 2nd innings. They are already 2 down.

There is lot of negativity surrounded that Pakistan can not chase at all in 4th innings.
India was unable to chase 208,287,194,243 this year and they have the best batsman in the world.

Ireland are test minnows. We have flunked test chases against SL, NZ and WI in recent times, are batting is mentally weak.

A chase of 130 odd should be fine in the 4th innings.

We've had 2 very exciting test series against Aus and Nz... pity there has been no hype about them in the global media, whose focus is now the IND vs AUS series. Day 4 of the 3rd test is gonna start and we still have no clue who is going to get their hands on the trophy... hello world a little limelight here please!
We should have scored much more then 348. As usual we lost a cluster of wickets after the Azhar/Shafiq partnership was broken. Day four will be a crucial one that could very well decide the series. I still have not got over the four run defeat in the fist test

Just like Pakistan , NZ batting starts from number 3. So, NZ can still post a target greater than 200 for Pakistan.
