Pakistan right and left hand opening combination

I was wondering why after CT17, we went back to two left handers (Imam & Fakhar), when the former combo worked in our favour similar to India (shikar & rohit)?? Any take on this guys?

Yeah, no good right handed batsman to open. honestly I would just have Sarfraz open with fakhar and the two can play their shots and we can get a better middle order batsman. imam does not have strokes, not even talking about power shots, to chase anything 250+ by himself and so no need for him. atleast Sarfraz takes the game to the opposition.

Solution is easier than it looks - drop Imam, open with Babar & FZ; Saud/Haris at 3, Sarfraz has to be carried at 4, Malik 5.

yeah agree with dropping imam but no need to make babar open, we need someone to take advantage of power play. maybe get another player like asif ali at top or just sarfraz

Well I don't think Imam is going anywhere soon. So we will keep seeing the left hand openers fakhar and him, Hopefully they can at least be our next Aamir sohail & Saeed Anwars of future.!
