It is with a heavy heart that we now announce our unavailability to replace Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup. Regardless of whether they now withdraw, the short timescales ensure it is impossible for our squad to prepare in the professional manner necessary to compete effectively in this global cricketing spectacle. We are not like Scotland and able to turn up on a whim, with no kit sponsor.

Our players are from all walks of life and cannot simply drop their occupations to fly halfway around the world to experience temperatures only normally felt in Finnish saunas. This is the harsh reality of cricket at the amateur level of the game.

This news will be extremely disappointing to our fans. Despite being the most peaceful nation on Earth, we maintain an army of online followers, and are the world's 14th most followed national board on X. We were ready to give the Dutch the biggest shock they have experienced since William of Orange lost the Battle of Landen in 1693. And the Americans were looking forward to taking on Greenland, or so their orange-dyed leader thought.

Our loss is likely Uganda's gain. We wish them well. Their kits cannot be missed unless you have epilepsy, in which case they are probably best avoided.

The future is always ice, until it isn't.

First you need to give up your hypocrisy... That is valid only for International games with no handshake and no trophy will be taken type Stuff... That is the stuff you guys can do... stick to it

I have made my thoughts on how India-Pak relationship should be very clear. This whining about hypocrisy and putting up with poor treatment from BCCI and non stop begging for bilateral series hardly makes PCB/Pak look good. Not voting against India except for approval from Indian (Shashank) makes PCB look pathetic.

Broadcasters are looking at their own pocket. Trust me, no one in India gives too hoots about playing Pakistan. It will be a dream scenario for many, including me, if they Boycott the tournament as promised. IPL running for 17 years without Pak cricket and it only grew stronger.

Honestly, I’m done with this India–Pakistan circus. Completely drained. I don’t even want them playing each other anymore. We keep beating them in tournaments, and yet the noise never stops. Asia Cup. India dominated start to finish. What did they celebrate? Haris Rauf’s celebration. T20 World Cup, India won again. Their takeaway? “Three quick wickets.”

It’s been the same loop for years. They hype their “premium” fast bowlers, and then Kohli, Rohit, Gill, and KL calmly shut them down. Losses so heavy that any other team would’ve gone quiet for months, but this Pakistan team and its fans are so shameless. Their drama, press conferences, social media agendas. Last Asia Cup was peak theatre. Endless hype, endless illogical talks, same ending: defeat.

Now it’s Saim Ayub, off one fluke innings, being compared to Abhishek Sharma, the same Abhishek who cooked them, won Player of the Tournament, while Saim was busy getting ducks. Babar gets pushed into Kohli comparisons despite never winning a single ICC tournament MOM. Now Abrar’s on about celebrations, conveniently forgetting how Indian batters made them cry.

You can’t even argue with them. Fans, journalists, ex-cricketers, all living in a bubble of delusion. When they have nothing, they invent something. I’m honestly exhausted watching this nonsense.

The way Pakistan is behaving right now, I’m really concerned about Australia escalating the matter of Usman Tariq’s action to the match referee and then the ICC calling him for testing by suspending him

PCB will definitely boycott if this happens

Usman’s bowling does look weird and dodgy to the naked eye. There is no Indian conspiracy. Last time I heard he was reported in both PSL and IlT20.

Pakistan will end up playing and then some posters will claim victory and say PCB successfully trolled everyone.

As if trolling by an organisation is recognised or respected strategy instead of what it actually is, a debating point for teenagers.

At least that would be comparatively (I used the word carefully) less insane than boycotting a tournament on behalf of a newly developed ‘brotherly nation’.
 
Usman looks dodgy in few balls but most balls he is bowling fine. Maybe he has a special ball with wrong action
