Pakistan squad announced for 3-match T20I series against Bangladesh

I think the squad we played last tour was better. Am not a fan of nawaz coming back and would have rather taken shadab over him even if I have issues with shadab.

Am glad Rauf is gone though.

Pcb has better options then nawaz, idkw they went back to him.
Rauf is injured I think.

Atm Pakistan is in a similar boat to Australia. They are suffering from a talent crises.

In the past they didnt suffer from a talent crises, they just suffered from poor management under Misbah as Pakistan still had all fronts covered in test, odi and t20.

The current issue is that our pace bowling stock and spinning stock is next to non existent which is why Pakistan needs to rely on rubbish like rauf and nawaz.

The batting stock is decent for t20 but totally out of touch with test and odi atm.

It's taken a solid 30 years since the mid 90s and we have finally become a medicore team with no superstars. What a demise. I thought 2015 was bad.

I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel for a atleast 5 years.

Pakistan bowling coach Ashley Noffke was out on the field working with the fast bowlers during the Karachi camp. now eager to see how they’ll execute in the upcoming series against Bangladesh.

Good to see Babar and Riz dropped. They have become stale and needed a reset. It will be interesting what they do if we get walloped, which in BD conditions is more than a possibility. Our bowling is still rubbish and without a decent attack, we cant compete

Salman Ali Agha XI secured a commanding 8-wicket win over Saim Ayub XI in a high-scoring practice match.

Saim Ayub XI, batting first, posted a total of 189/5 in their 20 overs, with Saim Ayub leading the charge with a brilliant 105 off just 53 deliveries. Among the bowlers, Ahmad Daniyal was the standout with 2 wickets, while Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Abrar Ahmed each took a wicket.

In an interesting move during the innings break, the coaches revised the target and set Agha XI a new goal of 219 runs, up from the original 190, to create a more challenging scenario.

Agha XI rose to the task impressively, reaching 219/2 in only 17.3 overs. Fakhar Zaman hammered 72 off 38 balls, while Mohammad Haris contributed a rapid 57 off 27, ensuring a dominant chase.

For Saim Ayub XI, Abbas Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz managed to pick up a wicket each, but the bowling unit struggled to contain the aggressive batting.

Whenever I read a Pakistan men’s squad without Babar and Rizwan’s name in it…

It reminds me of the beautiful times I had in my life when I supported Pakistan cricket team.
Well the beautiful times are here

I think the squad is decent but we need to tone down the number of all rounders in the final XI

I think Khushdil can be handy in certain conditions, useful squad player. Nawaz is poor yeah.

If Saim can bowl a few every match there is no need for so many spin all rounders.
That's the point. When you have saim and Salman. You don't need them. Play a specialist, unfortunately our stocks are so poor that these guys keep getting picked. Should have backed Qasim Akram and Arafat Minhas. Not sure where Qasim Akram has disappeared, he not even getting selected for the Shaheen squads.

Khushdil is poor with the bat he has a strike rate of just over 100 that's unacceptable.
