It has just been announced officially:

1-Ramiz Raja
2-Ian Bishop
3-Danny Morrison
4-Bazid Khan
5-Alan WIlkins
6-Mel Jones
 
Disappointed to see Danny Morrison there. Can't tolerate his screaming any more. This isn't WWE. Good to see Bishop there. Looking forward to listening to him and Bazid
 
All our ok and provide a different style; In T20 how much time do they get other than shouting etc?

Would've like an English commie in there, but maybe next season.

Disappointed to not see Waqar's name.

He is miles better than ramiz and actually has knowledge of the local players.
 
Rambo is the ATG commentator from Pak. You'll never get bored hearing him -- makes the game interesting.

BUT... what is the monotonous bore-fest Bazid doing there? Don't we have anyone else, who can make the listeners and those watching have a good time?

Bishop is a quality addition, but Bazid should've been replaced by someone else. Wasim, Waqar, Bazid -- all are boring, monotonous.

Amir Sohail could've been decent -- way on point, gives good insight, very bold.

Bazid is an excellent commentator. Best analyst in Pakistan comfortably

Wilkins was born in Wales and played country cricket in England so he technically counts.

Agree on Danny as well.

You complain about Bazid being boring yet suggest Amir Sohail instead of him? :))

Nothing against Sohail. He along with Bazid are probably the more insightful analysts from Pakistan but they both aren't suited to commentating on T20s. I don't really mind either of them but can understand if people find them boring. Bazid has good knowledge of domestic players so I like him commentating here.
 
Bishop's one of my favourite commentators in the world. Great to see him there.

Damn I just realised...

It's a pleasure to hear him speak and share his thoughts on the game.

For me he is one of the great minds of modern day cricket and I wish he had been our coach
 
Bazid Khan is very knowledgeable but his voice is too monotone and boring at times. He needs to up the ante :ravi
 
Well by English commie, I meant one of the ones who are usually commentating during Pakistan vs England i.e. Nasser, Lloyd, etc. Should've specified. :nasser
 
Thankfully no Symcox. Ramiz is just the lesser version of Ravi Shastri, all sound but no real meaningful talk.
 
Poor line-up

Seems like they've gone for the let's try to be funny and 'colourful' rather than actual cricketing knowledge.

Most of those listed have no clue about cricket.

When I'm watching cricket, I want to be entertained and hear good commentary.

Bazid has decent domestic knowledge, but not much more than a regular PPer. Also, that knowledge is of no use when you can't properly commentate.
 
Good to NOT see Pat Symcox there, marginally better than last time. Tom Moody for his insights will be missed

Yeah only Bazid and Bishop have knowledge. But they are too boring to listen to.
 
Danny Morrison overdramatises every damn moment, he never has anything insightful to say.
 
Not sure what huge insight we are expecting in t20 games!
 
Bazid why on earth he is there.. He is damn so boring no space for boring commies or batters or bowlers or characters in T20 leagues.
 
Fazeer mohammad would have been good although maybe he is more suited to cricket involving the west indies national team.

Symcox was awful in the studio with Wilkins.

It was like watching paint dry.

How on earth Wilkins is part of the PSL again is mystifying.

Bumble would be perfect for this.

Wilkins is okay, not great not bad.

Bumble would be great but wouldn't go with the likes of Bazid and co. Only if we could get Naseer along with Bumble.

Wow, I'd count that as a missed opportunity then, especially when you consider the fact that the likes of Mel Jones will be commentating throughout.
 
Why dont We have Muhammad wasim in psl , he is quite entertaining commentator

Mel Jones is a better commentator than the majority of the names listed above...
 
This mel jones thing is awful.

Constantly yammering on about bbl and trying to degrade PSL with comments like:

"Haddin failed in the bbl"

Wilkins said "This is Haddin's x number of 50's in the PSL" to which this thing replies "this is the PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE after all (in a mocking tone)".

Pathetic commie.

The lady commentator seems out of place.

You need some energy, some passion in T20 cricket - she's far too serious and mundane.
 
Mute button coming to the rescue when Wilkins and Ramiz are commentating.
 
Am I the only one who is finding the commentary team interesting?
 
we need entertainment and Danny is providing I seen so much hate for Danny but he is brilliant you need a entertainer also beacuse t20 is fun game

I felt sad for Ian Bishop on some occassions.

The guy was interested in talking about the match but Wilkins and Rambo kept calling him Ian Bashir :)))

Although they are a better sight on the cricketing field than the commie boxxx.... still would be a sight to see these match share a screen on commentary cheering the teams on

I didn't like the way he was treated, clearly he got pretty offended with those jokes, but was professional enough to not create tantrums on it.. but he didn't like it from the way he was talking about it.. its only funny the first couple of times, but Ramiz and Wilko couldn't stop at all

Yeh they kept calling him dilwala or something to that effect and also forcing him to speak in Urdu when he was clearly not comfortable by being put in that situation.

I expect zero professionalism from Rambo but figured Wilkins would have been better, not to be unfortunately.

Wilko has been pathetic this edition of the PSL as others have noticed his incessant joking along with Rambo just started grating as they kept repeating the same jokes. Wilkins seemed to be using the tournament as his Urdu classes and was just awkward with him n Bazid in the studio. You could tell Ian Bishop was like these clowns are really testing me. Rambos attitude is also pretty pathetic he acts like hes some big Choudary in PSL.
 
I think the Ramiz and Wilkins double act devalued the commentary at the PSL. They were both like immature schoolboys who thought they were funny when in fact they were making fools of themselves.

Bazid and Bishop did what they are good at. Decent cricketing knowledge and Bazid at least has some knowledge of the Pakistani domestic players, unlike Ramiz who cannot even say their names correctly.

Mel Jones was just plain awful.

What substance does he add apart from screaming? He adds no input and just repeats the same old clićhes.

I mean there's a reason he doesn't commentate outside Asia...

I would rather listen to Brayshaw than Morrison, that's how bad he is.
 
Except for Bazid and Bishop they were all awful. Definetly need new commentators next time round. Danny and Wilkins were cringe-worthy for the most part and Mel Jones was just boring and didn't add anything to the commentary that wasn't already there. Ramiz just commentating like he's watching over an average hollywood movie or something, nothing insightful or new.

I just hope Bishop doesn't take this personally. We need commies like him in the PSL
