Pakistan Super League 2019 - Broadcast Thread

just a question plz

will PSL be broadcasted on PTV sports (free to air) in saudi arabia or at any live streaming link for youtube ?
 
The HBL Pakistan Super League TV Broadcast partners have been unveiled.

In Pakistan, PTV Sports and Geo Super would broadcast all 34 matches live.
Viewers in North America (USA and Canada) can watch the HBL PSL on Willow TV.
DSports India, HUM TV (United Kingdom and Europe) will also be showing the HBL PSL matches live.

The HBL PSL 2019 will be launched through a glittering opening ceremony on 14 February followed by the opening match between defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars, at the Dubai International Stadium.

No SkySports? I really hope there is someway I can subscribe to Full HD coverage.

Oh, while we are at it, does anyone know where can I download ringtone of first PSL? It was this really mellow rhythmic music, played between drink breaks and innings break. I hope someone knows what I am talking about.
 
Lucky to have Willow HD showing here in USA! What about Africa and Australia/NZ market? I remember a much larger list last seasons.

How is PCB responsible for it when there is no HD sports channel in Pak?

And government didn't give permission to entertainment channels to bid for broadcasting rights? PCB ki poor planning kaha se hai ismay?

PCB could have shown HD broadcast locally for streaming, if channels cant. But they wont

Many People in Pakistan have Tata Sky HD, Videocon D2h, Dish TV etc and they have access to all the channels like D Sports HD, Star Sports HD, Sony ESPN HD etc.

Has anyone used it. Is it any good and does it have an Android Tv app I am thinking of paying :runaway:in this Naya Pakistan instead of just finding a dodgy streams that keep buffering or going down.
US$15~/ doesn't seem that much for the whole tournament. Would prefer it to work with android tv or chromecast at least though as I want to watch it on my tv rather than my phone or tablet.
 
No PSL TV coverage in UAE and Gulf!

Quite amazing since tournament is being played in UAE. Only available on cricketgateway.ae
 
cricketgateway is alright not all that but it has a glitch it will keep signing you out every 30 minutes which is what happened to me lastyear and it is really annoying so this year i decided not to renew it

One thing you can try is playing the stream on a laptop with an HDMI cable and plugging it into your TV if your TV has an HDMI port.

Guys, cricket gateway isn't even worth your 15 dollars per month. This stream should be free. If cricketgateway can do it, then why not make the HD available for local Pakistanis, for free? It's supposed to be our league and Pakistanis can't even have the streams in HD, legally speaking.

I would rather spend this much money on an IPTV solution, which will include a whole lot of HD streams over the world, including all Pakistani channels in good quality for maximum 5-10 bucks. Pathetic PTV quality camera works & windows 98/xp animations, just make it all around poor. PCB should learn a thing or two from SkySports or NZ broadcasters.

Many ISPs here in their TV bundles provide channels like Star, Sony etc. DSport is available right now and they have HD broadcast for PSL. Most cricket is covered by Sony and Star so you can simply ignore the disasters known as PTV Sports and Geo Super.

For Erin Holland, cricket seems to be a perfect fit. How perfect of a fit you say? Well, she’s also the wife of Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting. Ben is currently playing in the ongoing season of Big Bash League (BBL).

I paid for it your bad expierence probably might be because of bad internet speed. I am casting it to my TV at full hd. The stream is really good with no ads or drops.
Geo etc wouldn't have paid a lot to the broadcaster if Pakistanis could easily get full HD ad free streams.

How is the bitrate & the quality? I own 100/100. Post some screenshots

720p60 here [MENTION=418]Willow[/MENTION] with lots of ads. so, no complaints lol

The quality of the Hum channel in the UK is really disappointing, ruining the whole experience
 
The audio for hum europe is atrocious, like listening to lw radio. Absolutely ruins the match
 
Graphics look cheap and taccy to me.

Poor effort really.

1080p@60 with no stutter the stream was really clear and I had no problems casting to my 4k 65 inch tv. I didn't check how much bandwidth it was actually using though the app at the time was showing around 4~mb/sec. Even the surround sound seemed good but my system does not show if it was 5.1 or normal stereo being converted to surround.
 
gateway stream is ok but if you make it full screen it becomes pixalated

I think they have different quality streams for different regions when I paid I got a notification that for my region I will get the full hd stream. And I was watching it on a 65 inch 4k tv with no pixelation that I could tell. Not as good as the football world cup hd streams but it is still good enough.
 
Very sad that in 2019 we are still having to complain about lack of coverage, that too in HD.

How did you know that it was 60Hz? It could have been 25fps, or an upscaled from 720p? I think, WillowHD has superior stream

This is poor, poor broadcasting quality. The guy makes it seem like this is a parody. How do you want to portray this league as strong competition when this guy introduces it as if its Tekeshi's castle!
 
Dissappointing broadcast by hun masala. Audio seems to go out for a few secs. Seems like watching north nazimbad premier league. Prime tv last year was much better
 
poor from Hum Masala, atleast they are showing English adverts and not the claim today rubbish we have seen previously.
 
This is the 4th edition yet the broadcast is as if it is the first edition.

I keep getting a black screen when replays are being shown and when referrals are made to the 3rd umpire.

It's not the host but the producer in his ear. I've lost count of how many times he's been asked to point to numbers that aren't put on the screen.

Just makes the guy look even more ridiculous. But his presentation style is a bit OTT
 
Captains corner with Bazid just makes me cringe.

Disjointed, stuttering with awkward pauses.

Bazid trying to be what he isn't - a tv presenter.

It's a shambles.

ARY Digital Network will be broadcasting the HBLPSL matches on ARY Digital (middle east) from today (20th february 2019) till 17th march 2019. ARY Digital Network acquired the rights for broadcasting psl season 4 in the middle east.

We strive to make efforts like these to highlight Pakistan's sporting talent around the world and Pakistan Super League is the right platform to do so."

ARY Digital (middle east) is available on Television channel: 286, Du: channel 320 and OSN: channel 283
 
I sometimes have Geo News on and there's always ads for the PSL. Does anyone else find the screeching PSL ad music annoying? It's starting to do my head in. :uak
