Pakistan thwart Brendan Taylor’s brilliance to seal 26-run win in first ODI against Zimbabwe

Just get him out of the attack already. Imad would do a better job

Everyone spends so much time complaining about youngsters not getting a chance but when they are getting a chance its "get him out of the attack" .. its fine, this is a great way to learn for a bowler. some bad balls some good ones, lots to learn

Is he young?

Haris isn't able to control the new ball. He is a better old ball bowler. I'm just asking to give him more overs with the old ball which is his comfort zone.

Misbah will ruin Afridi like Junaid by over using and playing him every match.

People need to realize Haris is debuting for Pakistan in ODIs. Will have to see him bowl more spells and see in more ODIs to form any judgment as of now. Different players respond and grow differently.

He'll learn from this though, we already know imad can bowl well with the new ball. You have an opportunity in this series to learn about your youngsters. and you can't judge off one spell that he can't control the new ball. Did really well with it in the recent national T20 on a few occasions. Could just be nervous

He does but he never got this much with the white ball.

To be honest he was a work under progress for a year or so now in terms of getting that swing going from the right angle. He is still working on away swing but looks to be getting decent control on the inswing to the right handers. If you see WC 19 highlights he didnt have much of that.

As I have said many times, Rauf is the second coming of Wahab. 9/10 times, he is going to get smashed by great batsmen or any batsman in good touch.

In-between, he will have a random spell every now and then where he will pick a couple of wickets at 90 mph+ and get his hyper fans excited.

Overall, a very average bowler.

Other than running up and bowling a good length, what does Faheem offer with the ball lol? No pace, no movement, and no x factor .

How much dew is expected? ZIM has kept a very good RR, if dew is heavy, PAK will struggle here to grip the ball & there is no Leggi today.

So they showed Faheem from his face angle at point of release. Last I remember, his face used to be pointing towards the left or down when he would release the ball. This time he is looking at the batsmen.

Zim have good chance to disappoint hosts here. Taylor, Williams and Sikandar have ability to get their team over the line.

Pak will miss Shadab today, and should have been brave an selected a proper spinner in place of useless Iftikhar.,who has been getting too many chances.

If he matches Wahab then that would be good for Pakistan, as Wahab has been a useful white ball cricketer for Pak, and has some commendable performances in world cups.

Good little spell here by both Wahab and Faheem. run rate creeping up.

Ifthikar in the slips again lol. Only team in the world that hides their worst catching fielder in the slip cordon :broad

They never ever learn.

May be Misbah needs another year of extension. Great job Wasim Khan.

Don't understand why we're playing four pacers when the World Cup is in India. Shouldn't we be grooming spinners ?

Zafar should've been selected instead of this mediocre Faheem. Team management have as many brain cells as a bowl of grapes.
