Carribean island weather forecasts are always like this.
It means there may be a shower at like 3am. Doesn't mean sustained rainfall just short showers. We will get play.

the forecast for the ODIs was similar, but it didn't rain during the matches except for that slight delay that was caused by rain before the 3rd match. I hope same happens during the tests but anything can happen, hope we get at least 4 days of cricket.

On and off matches are bad for the batting side but the pitch also ends up becoming damp and with the poor system they have in the Windies, the ground can stay a bit water logged. It makes for poor cricket all round. I hope it clears up. Does anyone know if this is normal for this time of year?

thankfully they made a balanced pitch so even if it rains later, we can get a result hopefully, I just hate draws

Yes, of course.
Whether there is play or not also depends upon how well they cover the field? From India's experience I would say the answer is not very well.
