lolz well 350 is the minimum but what do you think misbah is thinking? :P :P he must be thinking about 400. ideally we should bat aggressive tomorrow for 60 overs to get atleast 150 runs. and have 4 sessions of 120 overs to take the aussies down.

ya i think 110 overs will be enough to bowl out Aussies even in worst case

Aussies will come back strongly ...... cant reckon how many overs is a safe bet to bowl them out. we were a little lucky in this innings.

key is scoring runs tomorrow and its not like we need to go at 5 an over. 3 an over will get the job easily thanks to the enormous lead we possess. :D

STUMPS!

Well we need time to bowl them out so we need 100 to 120 overs to do that. The key is getting enough runs while keeping the over limit in line.

The day is completely ours! no loss of wicket and 10 of aussies.

I think thats being extremely optimistic- this is still a very inexperienced and relatively weaker bowling attack, they have never been in a situation where they have had to close a game yet.. Id want to give them closer to 150 overs

Game's not over.

Yeah, still have work to do. These two need to get to a century partnership and we need to get a 400+ lead. If we can bat up until Tea tomorrow, we should have that lead and declare then. If we get all out, we're in trouble.

Think we should be safe even with our brittle batting they should score another 150 runs with remaining 10 wickets.

If anything hope the ball starts to play tricks tomorrow as it is still a pretty docile surface.

Misbah should come next after Shehzad getting in first over tomorrow, Definitely match winning hundred from him on cards.

150 overs mean 5 sessions which is that Pak should declare after lunch then the lead will be only 280ish and Aussi 80% Aussies will chase it nice attempt at :troll

Australia do not have the ability to bat 100 overs in the last innings

I fell asleep about 4am US EST or just after Doolan's dismissal whenever that was but geez to go from 1/120 or whatever it was to all out 300-odd is pretty bad. 10 wickets in a bit over two sessions. Will try and watch the highlights a bit later but this match is pretty much Pakistan's to lose now. We will do well to bat into Day 5 I reckon. Nobody in this lineup can bat time other than Clarke and maybe Rogers. I did see Doolan's dismissal, for a No3 he doesn't really fill you with confidence. This is the position that the likes of Greg Chappell, Justin Langer, Ricky Ponting filled and Doolan doesn't look up to it.

As for the bowling it's pretty much gone exactly how I predicted - MJ would be the only threat, the spinners would be worse than useless and Siddle would try hard all day but be ineffectual. On these wickets you need to have pace and bounce to bother the batsmen or you need to be able to move the ball, either with natural swing and seam or reverse it.

Hopefully Clarke gave them a spray in the sheds afterwards...might be hard given how he was one of the ones that failed. He hasn't had much time out in the middle though.

I think it's beyond this lineup to do an AB and bat out the rest of the test match so might as well just let them play their strokes and look for runs. Of course there is a tiny chance that Pakistan will do a Sydney and choke tomorrow but it seems quite unlikely right now.
