Lets be real, who has the time to attend 5 days in stadium these days?
Its a sold out crowd, people are gonna come back the second and third session.
The facilities arnt suitable for a full day visit
Then why stadiums in England always full ? Are Pakistanis more busy and productive than English People ? Wondering .
Massive crowd of people stuck outside of the stadium waiting for entry. Expecting it to be really crowded post lunch.
exactly, i will be in Pakistan and have a perfect opportunity to easily make it for the odi series, and i am giving it a skip as odi is too long plus covid etc (no player access)...Lets be real, who has the time to attend 5 days in stadium these days?

Can they stop blowing those annoying horns.
English people showing up for test cricket as mostly old retired folks. Many cricket fans in England only watch cricket when Ashes is going on so it always gets good crowd. In Ind vs Eng/Aus tests, the majority of crowd showing up is desi junta. Local English/Aus people don't really care watching Ind/Pak. I personally believe that England has perfect conditions for captivating test cricket to be played between two competitive teams. I really enjoyed the Ind-Eng test series last year. The atmosphere in the stadium and the quality of cricket from both teams was captivating to watch.

Vuvuzelas are completely ruining the viewing experience. TV producers are incompetent otherwise they would have complained to the PCB about this.

It’s sold out crowd but capacity is 50% capped
For some strange reason, inspite of a large crowd, they weren't really loud. If someone like Afridi was batting or Akhtar was bowling they would be really loud

Are these people seriously sat on wedding chairs?

Has this been copied from the Brit Pak crowd at English grounds?
Tickets for 2nd and 3rd Tests on sale now. Hopefully we get good crowds in Karachi and Lahore too (along with a better pitch and game of cricket)
I wouldn't bet my money on it in Karachi. Eventhough its Pakistan's fortress and most prolific venue.
Hope I am wrong.
For some inexplicable reason they aren't releasing all the tickets in one go - so it seems only about 50% of the tickets for the Karachi test have been released. Looks like about 50% of the released tickets have been sold for days 1 and 2 - so as things stand about 25% of capacity.

Pretty pathetic turnout. But then again I am not surprised because its Karachi.
I used to live karachi and last time i travelled to national stadium was probably 20 years ago. It was an absolute pain & torcher entering the stadium back then. I cant imagine how things would be now for fans.
Am surprised with crowd turnout. you have a champ team and another top side touring after long time, its weekend and karachi is your big metro city. does covid have anything to do with it?I thot its India who has a bit of cricket overdoes especially with tests.
as always, karachites disappoint us, better to shift matches away from them
So you will shift game from Pakistan's biggest city.
Instead of understanding why this is happening and taking remedial action, you are doing what is normally done in Pakistan to the people of Karachi. Well done.
The pitch is terrible. You need result oriented pitches to attract crowds.
The fact that the biggest city cant even get fans in the stadium is a big shame.
This is not discrimination against karachi. In franchise sports, if the home stadium cant bring fans, franchise owners end up shifting the franchise to some other city. The reason for that is always due to a less population amd smaller fan base.
If karachi cant fill up the stadium, than move the matches away from NSK. Lahore, Multan and pindi are atleast filling up the grounds.
Even if remedial action is taken there is no gurantee that karachites are gonna show up. The onus is on the fans to actually show up or take the matches away from them.
Even in psl, interviews by fans indicated that most of the people that came to watch the game were from areas around sindh
I agree with the suggestion actually. In India, people in big cities were exhausted with IPL etc and test cricket had poor crowd. BCCI included 2nd tier cities for test cricket it helped a lot.So you will shift game from Pakistan's biggest city.
